Koda is a 2 year-old Husky who weighs 37 lbs. Koda arrived at CHA when his owner could no longer care for him. Koda is an extremely sweet, people-motivated dog who absolutely loves playing in the yard and going for walks. He has the cutest play bow ever and loves to play with humans and dogs alike. Koda may be slow to warm up to new spaces, but once he is comfortable with his surroundings he becomes his happy-go-lucky self again! He is a super sweet boy who will always want to cuddle up next to you. If you`re looking for a companion who will enjoy both adventures and lazy days on the couch, Koda could be the dog for you!
Duchess is a 5 year old, 42lb husky who came to CHA from one of our partner shelters. Duchess is a survivor, as she was diagnosed with heartworm when she arrived at our shelter. Now, thanks to the efforts of our veterinary staff, she is officially heartworm free! Duchess is a very social girl who always greets her caretakers in the morning with bright eyes and a wagging tail. She loves going for long walks and is very well-behaved on leash, and would make the perfect hiking buddy! Duchess is a husky, and like all huskies she displays an elevated prey drive and high energy levels so she will need a forever home that is willing to accommodate those factors. If you are looking for a friendly and energetic girl to fill your life with tail wags and cuddles, come out and meet Duchess today!

Story
Yukon is a very friendly, well mannered, and affectionate dog. He loves to play and snuggle with everyone he comes across. He's great with kids and other animals and is very well house trained. We get complements from the neighbors all the time!
Yukon was adopted from a shelter in California. His history is unknown but we believe he is 5-6 years old. We've never noticed any sign of trauma from previous homes. He has has proven to adapt to new settings well and has always gotten along with dog sitters.
We're very sad to see him go, but with the amount of traveling we have to do we feel he will be happier with a family who has time to take care of him.
