Story
Meet Goldie! Goldie is 1-2 year old Boxer mix who was found roaming the streets in Columbus. Luckily, she found a wonderful family to take her in and reached out to PetPromise to help find her forever family. Goldie loves to play with other dogs, toys and cuddle. She is learning to love crate time and is currently working on house training. She gets along well with other dogs and cats. She quickly learned how to “sit” and we have no doubt she can learn many more tricks. She would do well in an active home with another active dog to play with.
She is working on potty training and doing well with consistent positive reinforcement. She is very treat motivated and learning very quickly. She has already mastered sit! Goldie is also working on her crate training. She is doing excellent and is great with other dogs!
She will ready for obedience classes when she is adopted.
We HIGHLY encourage obedience/behavior training for all of our pups once adopted into their forever homes.
If you live an active lifestyle and are ready to bring this adorable girl into you home, please apply to meet her at PetPromise.org

MoxieFemaleAge: 6Weight: 58 lbsBreed: Boxer
Hi! I’m Moxie! I am a quiet and loving lady who gets along with other dogs. I have not been around cats to know how I would do around them. Even though I am a gentle girl, I am very nervous so small children in the home may not be best for me. I am house trained and crate trained (my crate is definitely my safe space) and I am learning to walk well on a leash. I enjoy lounging in the sun and running around my fenced yard. I am a bit skittish yet, so a house with a fence is best for me. I have a squeaky puppy toy that I like and have learned that I enjoy soft small treats. Because of my past I am honestly still learning to be a dog, so a home with another dog who can help me figure out what that means would be great. I cannot wait to find my very own family who will love me and show me the patience I need so that I can continue coming out of my shell. If you are interested in meeting this quiet, sweet, loving girl, apply to adopt her at: www.causeforcanines.org. Adoption fee: $350 Must be an Ohio resident and 23 or older. Children must be 10 years old or older.
