Story
Mary Jane is a spayed cattle dog mix. She’s 3-4 years old, 40 lbs. She’s grown up with kids but is territorial in and around their home towards other people and kids. Outside her own neighborhood she’s shy and needs some time to warm up to new dogs and people. She’s nervous but interested in other dogs. She chases cats. MJ is obedient, smart, food-motivated, and great with her family and kids. Owners have tried a dog trainer but simply don’t have the time to devote to exposure and advanced training. She goes to the dog sitters homes and after a 15 minute warmup period does well with other dogs. If you’re interested in a fun little dog that needs her own person, please fill out an application at sccpets.com (at no cost or obligation to you). Her adoption donation is $200.November 5, 2024, 12:47 pm

Story
Wow, what a unique beautiful dog. We received an email on 10/04 that his time in the shelter was up and he was supposed to be euthanized on 10/05/24. It didn’t take us long to intervene and BANG YES he will be coming here on 10/12/24. He is super friendly with everyone he meets, only one year old and stunningly beautiful with bright yellow eyes. Please call us if you’re interested in adopting him. 💕❤️💕❤️💕

Story
These three pint-sized pups, rescued from a crowded California shelter, are as bubbly as a freshly poured craft beer. Just like a well-aged brew, Amber, Hazy, and Stout have a unique character and a thirst for adventure. Imagine a trio of pint-sized, four-legged friends, each with their own unique charm. Amber, the golden ale of the group, is bright and bubbly. Hazy, the hazy IPA, is full of character and surprises. And Stout, the rich porter, is a gentle giant with a heart of gold. They've already started their health journey with their first round of DaPP vaccinations and have a date for their spay/neuter in early October. After their second DaPP and a well-deserved brew break, they'll be back in the game. Pour your heart into an application and let's arrange a meet-up—these rambunctious kiddos are waiting to find their forever home. Let's raise a glass to a speedy recovery and cheers to the adventures ahead! www.muttsandmissfits.org to meet adorable rescue pups and support a great cause.
