Story
Maple is a 4 year old, silly, sweet, spunky girl who deserves an experienced owner who has the energy, time and resources to meet all of her needs. Maple is smart, goofy, loves to make you laugh, and can pick up on new tricks very easily. She LOVES games like fetch and soccer and needs an owner who can play with her regularly. Maples interests are: tennis ball, stick found on walk, that squirrel over there, and showing you her new toy. Maple loves to please and protect her people, but does need patience and space from strangers and acquaintances. Because of her anxiety, Maple will need someone to show her patience and go slow with her as she gets to know them. Once she knows you, she loves you with her whole heart. Maple gets along with some, but not all dogs, and would likely integrate the most easily in a home with no other pets. Maple has completed an e-collar training course with Amani K9 who could be an ongoing resource for an adopter.

Story
I am rehoming my Aussie/heeler mix pup due to unforeseen circumstances. His name is Drogo and he is 1 year and 9 months old. He is up to date with his shots and has a clean health record. He is about 60 lbs and he is not neutered. Drogo is a very sweet dog and loves to be around his people. He is very loyal but he will have a favorite human. He does well with cats since he grew up with one. He likes other dogs but he is better with dogs that can match his energy as he is a very high energy dog. Drogo is a very smart dog. He has been through a lot of training since he was a puppy. He knows a lot of commands and he can learn any tricks fast. He is potty trained and crate trained. He also walks well on a leash. Due to his high energy, he will need consistent training and/or playtime. However, Drogo also knows when to settle down and rest. He will do well with someone who is active and/or a home with a big yard. If you have further questions, please feel free to contact me!

Klondike & Yukon Queensland Heeler mixes | Lively brothers These handsome boys were found stray together—amazing they made it through stray life, shelter chaos, and transport all the way here—together! Their journey out of an overcrowded shelter, where their time was running out in less than 30 days, was made possible through the joint effort of Happy Tails Happy Homes Rescue and Rocket Dog Academy, working together to give dogs a true second chance at life. Klondike and Yukon are fun-loving black-and-white little herders with big personalities and an even bigger love for people. True to their herding roots, they’re curious, energetic, and always ready for the next adventure. They’re now enrolled in their formal education through Astro-Pup School at Rocket Dog Academy, setting them up for success so their next home will be their last home—not a return to chaos—thanks to a solid, structured training program. 🚀✨ 💫 Think these boyz could be your perfect match? Apply to adopt them today! Rescue supported by Happy Tails Happy Homes Rescue — because happy tails make happy homes… even if your tail is short!! 🐾💙

Story
Meet Kira — our beautiful one-eyed girl with a whole lot of heart Kira is a 5-year-old female Cattle Dog mix weighing about 48 lbs. She’s spayed, vaccinated, heartworm-negative, and ready for her forever home. Why we love Kira Calm, steady, and low-to-medium energy Great with other dogs (no resource guarding!) Quiet, crate-trained, leash-trained, and potty-trained Loyal, intelligent, and deeply bonded to her people Confident and well-mannered with vets and caretakers Kira enjoys playing with other dogs but also loves taking time to herself to rest or explore. True to her cattle dog roots, she’s smart, curious, and responds beautifully to positive reinforcement. Ideal homeKira would thrive with an active adult or family with older kids who can offer structure, companionship, and regular exercise. She bonds closely with her person and is a classic “shadow dog” — happiest hiking, jogging, or simply sharing daily life together. A secure home with space to roam would be perfect. Her storyKira was found roaming the streets near Guadalajara with serious injuries to her eye. She trusted the right human, followed her to safety, and underwent surgery to remove her eye and end her pain. Since then, Kira has healed beautifully — physically and emotionally — showing incredible resilience and grace. Currently in Mexico, waiting for adoption Adoption Fee: $600 Apply at www.northwestwagrescue.org Kira may have lost an eye, but she hasn’t lost her sparkle — or her ability to love deeply. Location: Mexico (waiting for a 10-day trial commitment)Adoption Fee: $600Apply at: www.northwestwagrescue.org ##1773544##
