Julio was found as a 6 week old puppy on the roadside. He has been a perfect gentleman in the house and has been raised by the old timers and seniors who have taught him proper manners. He loves to play with Bruce and Lulu, has learned to play in the kiddy pools, and is fully house trained. He is mixed with shepherd, hound, red heeler best guess. He likes some snuggles, sleeps under the bed or the coffee table. he's quiet and overall just the best puppy ever. he will make a great family dog. apply at www.krrtx.org/forms Please note all dogs are located in San Antonio, TX. We advertise out of state due to the critical pet overpopulation problem here in the south. We use Your Texas Rescue Connection to transport the dogs to your area. Bebe has been living with us for 4 years and has brought us a lot of joy. She came to us as a rescue. We are very sad to have to rehome her, but we can no longer give her the care and attention she needs. My mother has dementia and Bebe has become very protective of her to the point that she nipped 2 people when they came near my mother. Bebe is a very loving dog with her people. I believe she would be a calmer dog if she had a large fenced yard to play in with an owner who is experienced with dogs and/or has experience with cattle dogs. Ms Lulu is quite the character! She is happy and funny and Loves to run and run. When she stops, she stops! She took over the house and yard the first day protecting and keeping all threats away from the fence. She is a snuggler and will sit on the couch and sleep in the big person bed or an open crate. She does prowl and protect through the night. She is house trained and uses a doggy door. Lulu is not good with small dogs as her breed likes to keep the "rodents" at bay. I would say no dog under 20lbs - otherwise male or female dogs are fine. No idea about cats. She is a cattle dog and seems as if she may have been trained to herd beyond what comes natural? she is not good with lazy pet goats, pigs and chickens. Cattle and horses would be safe. She is an active working dog who would love an active lifestyle if you can provide it. She loves the water too. She will herd children by nipping on their heels so maybe a bit older children who understand that's just what her breed does and won't cry. She does pretty well on a leash, rides in the car like a pro, loves puppies because she was a mom a time or two. Her tongue hangs out and her jaw is a bit off (maybe birth defect or an injury) but it does not affect her appetite! She is 3 years old with lots of energy so a yard is preferred She has a Skin condition where she losses her hair on her back because she is constantly scratching & biting at herself we think it could be mange we try and help her with showers once a week We do flea baths using flee comb & oatmeal dog soap we use a leave in avocado & coconut oil spray to help with her dry skin & itching. Tricks she listen to sit & wait, shake, turn around, . She loves to pull a lot when going on walks. Loves to cuddle, She is such a very sweet dog loves to play fetch with sticks and balls doesnt like water only water she will tolerate is the rain and takin a bath. She will get into any trash when left home alone.Potty trained if walked 2x a day. She is poop shy & will not poop if she sees or hears people or noices she as adhd so u have to remind her to go potty and tell her she is a good girl once she goes. When she has to go mostly in the morning she will yawn over & over until u take her potty.
