Animal Profile: Beethoven (hearing impaired like his namesake) is an estimated 3.5-year-old 40 lb neutered male mixed breed -- possibly terrier aussie mix mix -- who was a stray intake to the Caddo Parish Shelter in Louisiana and was assessed to be friendly, social and outgoing with everyone. He has a coat made for the PNW! This boy was used for dog testing because he is neutral or friendly with everyone. We will share more info once we get to know him in foster care. Foster Update: Beethoven can't hear but he is a next-level snuggle buddy and goofy boy who is house-trained, crate trained, and friendly with other dogs. He's also done okay with cats. He'd do best with a dog buddy in his home. He is prone to anxiety without proper leadership so an experienced dog owner who can provide training and help him be his best self is needed. Thoven has nice leash manners and is non-destructive in the house. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate.
