Story
Cali is a chill gal who is looking for a comfy home to relax in. Her favorite things are napping, chewing on her Kong, and rubbing her back and sides on walls and shrubs! She also seems to enjoy meeting new people and getting head scratches! She walks well on leash, with only a few stubborn moments that are eased with some verbal encouragement. She does well with other dogs and some small animals, but may chase some of the really small ones. Here`s a short video of Cali - https://youtube.com/shorts/sneY0zWYwfgCali is still working up to her goal weight but can be picky - she does best with a mix of wet and dry food in a slow feeder that is elevated. Do you think you could give this gal a chance to prove she`s the best dog? Story
Meet Dibs! Dibs is a 13-week-old, 13-pound bundle of sweetness and love. He is happy, social and playful. He loves to snuggle, follow his humans around and play with his toys. He is interested in playing with the 2 big dogs in the house, but will leave them alone if they don't pay attention to him. He is learning very well to potty outside and can make it through the night without an accident. He seems smart, learned to sit quickly and has done great adapting to his environment. He is still a puppy so has to be redirected when he is puppy-biting or grabs something he isn't supposed to have. Overall, he is a pretty easy little guy and a joy to have around! Dibs will make a great family dog! He will be medium in size as an adult.  Dibs is vaccinated and chipped and will be neutered between 8-12 months of age, at our cost. His adoption fee is $525 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! Story
Cafeto is a six-year-old red Aussie mix. He is neutered and fully vaccinated. Cafeto came from a shelter in Mexico, where he was dropped off as a puppy and languished for six years. Coming to the ranch about a month ago, he has really come out of his shell and will go up to strangers for pets. He is a slow-moving dog, and his vibe is more that of a seasoned older gentleman than a six-year-old! This sweet boy would prefer to be the only dog in the house, lie by the fire, and wander around your yard. If youre looking for a gentle older dog, Cafeto is your boy! Please visit our website www.vipp.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.
