Story
~~THIS DOES IS **NOT** IN THE CARE OF THE ALTERNATIVE HUMANE SOCIETY. PLEASE REACH OUT TO THE OWNER DIRECTLY AT ksherman91@live.com  THANK YOU ~~ Frankie is a 5year old Blue Heeler. Frankie is a good boy with a sweet heart. He loves his humans and is a great watch dog. He loves outdoor time and playing fetch with a ball or a frisbee. He is the first to greet you when you get home and is sad to see you leave. He is potty trained and incredibly smart, but also a little stubborn. He knows many commands but tests his independence sometimes when off leash. Frankie is an only dog and would prefer to stay that way. He does well on leash but when he crosses other dogs' paths he tends to bark or try to show dominance. With consistent walks I believe this could be corrected. He loves going on adventures and walks. He has lived with cats his whole life and is gentle with them but as a cattle dog he tends to herd them. Frankie would do fine with older kids but cannot be with small children. He tends to react when provoked or stressed. He is due for his latest shots and is otherwise healthy without any health concerns.  Frankie would thrive in a home with a fenced in yard with room to play and run, no other dogs, and no small children. He needs regular exercise and attention. Frankie is roughly 50 lbs and has medium length black and white hair. I do imagine he might take a short amount of time to  acclimate to his new surroundings and people since he has been with us his whole life, but once he gets to know you he will show his affection.  ##2205185##

Story
🌟Joey Tyler! 🌟 Now being fostered in Pittsburg PA ! But can be transported to the East Coast and PNW Joey is an energetic and bouncy 10 month old Blue Heeler and Aussie mix. He loves walks and hiking, chasing, digging, chewing, obedience training, and watching TV. He loves to learn, and is food motivated. Joey is fully house broken and crate trained, and he knows most basic commands - “come, sit, stay, drop it, leave it, up, down, gentle, look, and crate”. He is good on a leash and well tempered on walks, not reactive towards people or dogs passing by. So far he has proven great with most all other dogs, and loves to play with older kids (but he was too much for the little ones under 6yrs old). And he did well when meeting goats and horses, although does not have experience with them yet. Joey has never met a cat, as far as I know, and would probably like to chase it. He loves to play chase and would thrive in a home with breed experience and a way to channel his fun energy! Ready for lots of love and adventures? Georgie is waiting for his forever home! 🐾 Don't miss out on this amazing boy! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
