Story
Jesse is such a sweet boy. If you're looking for a calm, relaxed companion who follows you everywhere, Jesse is the dog for you! He wants nothing more than to lay at your feet and just be your companion. He does well in a harness, but can pull a little. He doesn't jump up on you. Knows sit and lay down and we're working on stay. Good with cats and kids. Jesse was attacked by some dogs in his own yard. He was surrendered and has had a long journey of healing. His back leg does not work as well as we were hoping, but it doesn’t slow him down. He was treated for heartworms, and has made a complete recovery. Jesse needs a home with a calm dog and loving family.

Story
Daisy was rescued from a final euthanasia list in Oklahoma City after being found starved and running the streets. Daisy is a smart girl and loves giving hugs and handshakes, is kennel trained, loves her bone and ducky toy, and adores spending time with her foster human and can never get enough affection. Shes food motivated and will do anything for a yummy treat! She loves other dogs. Also loves to explore the backyard! Her arch nemesis is the vacuum. She knows that thing is pure evil!! She is very playful and affectionate. Daisy is very petite and feminine. She takes a little bit to warm up but she once she does, she goes all in.

Story
Finneas is a bundle of excitement and energy. He needs daily exercise and mental stimulation. He is crate trained and house trained. Finneas has come a long way, but still requires time to warm up to certain people and dogs…which is improving daily. It will be best to let him warm up and familiarize himself with his environment before starting to experience dogs and other people. He has a specific procedure on meeting new people and dogs that helps his ability to warm up quicker. I recommend his future foster/adopt continue to follow it for the best results…I’m committed to continue being available to help them in the process. A home with a non-dominant dog would be best if there are other dogs. I would recommend no small children due to his trust issues…and NO CATS. A home with set boundaries, discipline, and structure is a must…or wiling to implement what is needed for him. ##813852##

Story
These pups were born in April. Their current living situation doesn't allow them room to run and play. Have to be walked on a leash. They are housebroken with supervision. They LOVED kids, and other dogs and are even good with the kitties (but I am sure are annoying little pups from the cat's point of view.) They have been neutered and have gotten their rabies vaccination. This is a courtesy post so please email us for a quick questionnaire to see if one of these pups (or both) would be a good fit for your family. twolegs4paws@yahoo.com Their DNA results were 27% mix of heeler, border collie and australian shepherd and 28% mix of bulldog, boxer, american staffordshire terrier, pitbull. They have a dozen other breeds in their too, like boston terrier and dachshund!

Story
Meet Copper! Copper is a very sweet, active and playful guy! He is about 12-18 months old, and at his last vet visit weighed in at 51 pounds. We think Copper probably has some Australian Shepherd, along with several other breeds including possibly Belgian Shepherd. Greyhound or Carolina dog. Copper is a beautiful and happy boy. He’s lucky to be alive! Copper came to us from the shelter at a time when he was minutes from losing his life because he had an upper respiratory infection. We are so glad he is with us now, and we will find his perfect forever home for him! Copper does well in a crate, he also does well on a leash. Copper would love to be a hiking or running buddy! His foster mom said he is doing well at learning house training. Copper loves to play with his doggy friends especially tug-of-war with the big rope toys and will do wonderful at a daycare or dog park with other active and playful dogs! Interested in becoming a forever home for Copper? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws. We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Copper. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Copper the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us. For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, and flea and tick prevention;. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!

Story
Hyde is an Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix about a year old and weighs about 40 lbs. He is house trained and crate trained. He tends to be shy and fearful at first. Once he feels comfortable he is affectionate and loves attention. Because of his past, he will have to have a home without children. He likes other dogs but he will have to be slowly introduced to them. He gets along with cats. Hyde has had a rough life up to now and deserves a loving home.
