Story

I’m looking to rehome my sweet pup, Junie. She’s about a year and a half, born sometime in March. I got her from the OKC Animal Shelter when she was three months old. We had a DNA test done on her and she’s mostly pit and Australian cattle dog mix. She loves to chew bones and play tug! She’s high energy, goofy, and very affectionate. She loves to think she’s a lap dog and she LOVES to work for treats. She’s loyal and can be clingy, but she also enjoys her independence. She’s difficult on leash currently, but would do better with more training. She is not up to date on vaccinations so would need those, but she is fixed. She gets sick/stressed in the car so she’s the type of dog that would do best staying at home most of the time. I do not have kids but I do feel she would do best in a home without small children (under 10). She does love other dogs, though, and would love to have a friend.

Meet Allison!! This smiley girl is about 2 years old. We believe she is a Heeler/Beagle/Pit mix. She currently weighs about 55 pounds and is done growing. Allison is such a happy, loyal girl! She always has a big smile on her face which is contagious to whoever she’s with! Allison loves any person she’s met and she is so ready to have a family all to herself!! Allison does show interest in wanting to play with some of our other dogs here. We think she would be just fine to live with maybe 1-2 other dogs who are a little more relaxed and would allow her to be her confident self. Sharing her attention with 20+ other dogs is definitely a bit overwhelming for her and she’s quickly growing tired of the shelter life. We have no idea what she thinks about cats. Allison is truly such a sweet girl and we know that her full personality will only flourish more once she’s able to leave the shelter into a home of her own!! Allison is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Her adoption fee is $85.
