Story
Dixie is a sweet and shy soul ready for love!! She is a 2 yr old heeler mix and has a heart full of love but needs a little patience to let her true personality shine. Dixie is shy at first but warms up with time and kindness. Once she trusts you, she's your most loyal companion, ready to cuddle on the couch or enjoy a quiet stroll by your side. Dixie would thrive in a calm and predictable environment. She doesn't mind other dogs and would do well with a confident canine buddy to show her the ropes, but she's also content being your one and only. Dixie is a little wary of new situations and sudden movements. She'll need a patient adopter who can help build her confidence at her own pace. Training and positive reinforcement will be key to helping her blossom.

Story
Jesse is such a sweet boy. If you're looking for a calm, relaxed companion who follows you everywhere, Jesse is the dog for you! He wants nothing more than to lay at your feet and just be your companion. He does well in a harness, but can pull a little. He doesn't jump up on you. Knows sit and lay down and we're working on stay. Good with cats and kids. Jesse was attacked by some dogs in his own yard. He was surrendered and has had a long journey of healing. His back leg does not work as well as we were hoping, but it doesn’t slow him down. He was treated for heartworms, and has made a complete recovery. Jesse needs a home with a calm dog and loving family.

Story
Daisy was rescued from a final euthanasia list in Oklahoma City after being found starved and running the streets. Daisy is a smart girl and loves giving hugs and handshakes, is kennel trained, loves her bone and ducky toy, and adores spending time with her foster human and can never get enough affection. Shes food motivated and will do anything for a yummy treat! She loves other dogs. Also loves to explore the backyard! Her arch nemesis is the vacuum. She knows that thing is pure evil!! She is very playful and affectionate. Daisy is very petite and feminine. She takes a little bit to warm up but she once she does, she goes all in.

Story
Finneas is a bundle of excitement and energy. He needs daily exercise and mental stimulation. He is crate trained and house trained. Finneas has come a long way, but still requires time to warm up to certain people and dogs…which is improving daily. It will be best to let him warm up and familiarize himself with his environment before starting to experience dogs and other people. He has a specific procedure on meeting new people and dogs that helps his ability to warm up quicker. I recommend his future foster/adopt continue to follow it for the best results…I’m committed to continue being available to help them in the process. A home with a non-dominant dog would be best if there are other dogs. I would recommend no small children due to his trust issues…and NO CATS. A home with set boundaries, discipline, and structure is a must…or wiling to implement what is needed for him. ##813852##

Story
Fern is a 2 year old cattle dog, not really sure. She is crate/house trained and weighs about 35 lbs. Fern just wants to please her people. She does like to jump up for hugs and kisses. She loves belly rubs and all toys. She gets along with other dogs and cats. She does require a slow introduction to other dogs. She met a new foster recently and after 2 minutes they were very best friends. If Fern could stay by your side for 24 hours and never leave, she would be so content. Making her humans happy is her sole mission in life. If you have love to give, Fern is the girl who will give in back in spades!!
