Story
Meet Jack Frost! He is 2 1/2 years old and has spent most of the last year in a boarding or rescue facility. He was actually transported to a rescue in Iowa and spent a few months there but they didn't have any interest. So we felt it was best to bring him back here and give him another chance here. He is great with other dogs, is jumpy and playful, not leash trained but willing to please. Skittish when approached but just needs to learn that people want to love him and give him a great life. He would benefit from structure and training. He is also better once separated from his brothers. Since they have been together their whole lives, they rely on each other and truly deserve one on one time and to be part of a family. He would be a great farm dog, as he was at a home for a short time and nipped at the ankles of the therapy horses, so he knows what he is supposed to do, but he just couldn't do it to those horses, since they are for therapy. Who can give Jack Frost a chance to know true love and be part of a family?!

Story
Gypsy is part of the group we are helping house after the Choctaw rescue fire at FurEverFriends. Gypsy is a super loving, playful girl that loves attention and friends. When she first meets a new person it takes her a few seconds to check you out and be sure you are worthy of her love. She loves to play chase and give nose boops and kisses. She does great on leash and is very well kennel and potty trained. She is very quiet and loves her people. She is the typical heeler and does get an attitude sometimes if she doesn’t want to take a bath or meds but she does eventually give in. She is a very good girl. Gypsy does not like to be outside in the heat or cold. She is a princess that wants to cuddle up with her person in the house. Anyone who has owned a heeler knows how attached they get to their person and Gypsy is a perfect example of a loving heeler companion for anyone.

Story
Socks is another one of our visitors we are housing from the Choctaw rescue fire at FurEverFriends. She is a smaller girl who absolutely love to play rough with her friends. We are guessing on the breed mix due to her size and her personality. She is a little shy but has a strong attitude towards other dogs. She is super playful but when she is done she is done and will walk away to be left alone. She loves to just lounge and sun in the yard. She isn’t very noisy at all and does well in her kennel. She does very well on leash.

Story
Meet Frank! Frank is a seven-year-old Australian Shepherd, weighing approximately 40 pounds. He is a likely double merle, which means he is completely deaf and has some vision impairment. However, he can track movement very well and navigates his world with confidence. He may take a moment to spot stationary objects, but that doesn’t slow him down one bit! Frank is an absolute sweetheart who loves nothing more than snuggling on the couch with his favorite person. While there are no children in his foster home, we believe he would do well with kids, as he has never shown any aggression. He gets along beautifully with other dogs, both big and small, and has done well with cats, too! Special Considerations Due to his deafness and limited vision, Frank doesn't always pick up on social cues from other dogs. He may accidentally walk into them if they’re lying still or not notice when they’re uncomfortable with his presence. For this reason, a home without reactive dogs would be best. Frank was previously attacked by larger dogs, so he may be a bit wary of them. Fun Facts About Frank! He loves to play fetch and is amazing at catching moving objects! Since he gets very excited during playtime, fetch toys are used at scheduled times to prevent obsession. House-trained – only one accident on his first day! Crate-trained – he stays in his crate while his foster mom is at work and at night without any fuss. Frank is an amazing, affectionate boy who is looking for a loving home that understands his special needs. If you think Frank would be the perfect addition to your family, please fill out an application—he can’t wait to meet you!
