Atlas is a REALLY nice laid back dog, a good companion for all. 8 yers old, He came to us with the worst skin condition, and sooooo very uncomfortable.. when we saw his picture we knew he had to be rescued. Well on his way to good health and his wonderful personality is coming out. Atlas is just a really good boy looking for a new start with his forever family. He is in foster with two fur foster siblings and doing great! He loves playing with toys, will go out into his fenced yard to potty, but runs right back in. You see Atlas spent his life chained outdoors, never saw the inside of a home. So now he has learned the warmth, love and comfort of a home and doesn't want to be outside for long! Can you blame him? Coming soon in Salt Point! Meet Baby Blue a diamond in the ruff. He is a blue healer mix who is around 2 years old. He came into the shelter as a stray so nothing is known about his earlier life but since coming to my house he has been working on manners and basic obedience. This will need to continue in his new home. He is a big dog at 65 pounds and can be pushy, rude, and sometimes pulls hard while on leash. He loves to cuddle and will force himself onto your lap and flip your hand to make you pet him. He is very active and needs a home who will exercise his body and mind. No cats or small children, he will knock them down, but older dog savy kids are ok. He loves to chew bones, is good loose in the house, and sometimes sleeps upside down in the cutest way. Baby Blue gets along with all the dogs in the house and needs a fenced in yard to run and sunbathe. He is currently in foster in Salt Point, NY. Nala is a very energetic 4 year old mix breed with the most beautiful massive ears. I got Nala at 3 months old when a friend was no longer able to care for her and I have had her ever since. I was told her birthday is estimated around Dec 2020 and I celebrate on Xmas Eve. She loves squeak toys specifically balls to play with and enjoys fetch A LOT. I live in an apartment complex now and I try to give her at least an hour of play a day, she can always play longer. Unfortunately it is hard with her high energy and the time commitment she needs and I travel a lot for work. She is reactive with other dogs and there are many in the complex I live. It is not with all dogs but there does not seem to be a pattern to who she is okay with so I do keep her away from all dogs she is not familiar with. I am truly sad to part with Nala but would love to see her in a family with a big yard, the time to play with her and even take her on hikes or long walks on trails. Ask me anything!

Hi, I'm Harley and I'm a really good boy who is 3-4 years old and fully grown at 28 pounds which is a perfect size for a medium sized pup. I'm a Cattle Dog, Frenchie and Jack Russell mix. I'm living with a great Foster family and their pup and they all love me. My Foster Mom says I'm is a love-bug. I love being close to my people and trying to please them. I make her laugh when I watch TV and make funny faces and bark at the dogs I see. I'm also a very brave and resilient boy. I was bit by another dog and needed to have surgery on the left side of my mouth. I'm totally healed and have a bit of a scar but that's OK - it only makes me more handsome. TROOPER is an awesome and playful Cattle Dog/Red Heeler mix who is 2-3 years old which makes him a perfect well trained guy! He has a beautiful coat and is a bit underweight at 40 pounds. He was surrendered by his family because they couldn't take care of him anymore and wanted him to have a great life. He lives up to his name as he's happy and upbeat with a medium energy level. He's very loving and so easy to live with - he's housebroken, loves going for walks (walks beautifully on a leash) and likes going for car rides.. He gets along great with everyone he meets and other dogs too....he loves to play! He's a smart boy and we know he'll be a wonderful and loyal member of his new family. He's living with a great foster family who has a dog and a cat and gets along great with both. He loves being close to his peeps and knows how to 'sit' and take his treats so gently. We're looking for a wonderful adopter for him who will always love him and take care of him. He's been fully vetted and is very healthy ....just needs to add a few pounds.
