Atlas is a REALLY nice laid back dog, a good companion for all. 8 yers old, He came to us with the worst skin condition, and sooooo very uncomfortable.. when we saw his picture we knew he had to be rescued. Well on his way to good health and his wonderful personality is coming out. Atlas is just a really good boy looking for a new start with his forever family. He is in foster with two fur foster siblings and doing great! He loves playing with toys, will go out into his fenced yard to potty, but runs right back in. You see Atlas spent his life chained outdoors, never saw the inside of a home. So now he has learned the warmth, love and comfort of a home and doesn't want to be outside for long! Can you blame him? She is a typical mischievous puppy, loves toys, likes getting to everything she can and just has a great time wherever she is.. she is not fully house trained yet but learning fast and will need some leash/harness training she would like a buddy to play either, she loves to tussle and play tag with her buddies The total adoption fee of $400 ( and includes , the interstate health cert and transport to the north east ,spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, distemper ,canine influenza, and microchip. This precious girl came from one of the worst hoarding situations that we have ever dealt with. there were over 100 dogs on the property, none of them spayed or neutered. Finally, the authorities went in and they managed to get ALL of the dogs out of there. Filthy dirty situation, sick puppies, you name it. We choose to take Blossom home to our rescue because her eyes were begging us for love and attention. She was very pregnant and two weeks after arriving, she gave birth to 7 heathy puppies! Every single puppy was different, every singe puppy had a different daddy! We think that Blossom had never been paid any attention to because she was so shy. Once we weaned her babies we took her out of the nursery and into the house where she just blossomed! That's how she got her name! Her puppies have long since been adopted and now it's her turn. We actually did a DNA on her and it came back with 4 different breeds, which we kind of figured from the beginning. Australian Cattle Dog, Labrador Retriever, Pit Bull, Boxer. Yes, she is truly a "Mutt!. She is extremely smart and will do anything for a treat. I want her to have a nice fenced yard with lots of room to run. Cattle dogs are working dogs and they need lots of exercise! She is spayed, crate trained, fully vaccinated, microchipped and house broken, truly a gem! Ready for immediate transport. Our friend had a bit of a heavy hand with the treats and Ginger was waaaay over weight! We put her on a diet right away and she is now slim and trim and ready to go to her forever home.
