Our pets are fostered and physically located in NC until adopted. Once adopted we can deliver to your location or one of our north eastern delivery locations. We have a transporter who delivers north ever other week. Aggie came from a local shelter along with her pups. Aggie was surrendered because she was VERY PROTECTIVE over her puppies. The former owner had a small child in the home and she was concerned about her toddler's well being. Aggie had always been perfect with her family until her pups were born. Being a protective first time mom is ONLY NATURAL and to be expected, The shelter knew my love for heelers and they knew I would be patient with her. I have handled Aggie extensively and she is a good girl. She would be better with women verses men. She is good with other dogs and I think she would be great on a working farm. That is where she came from, a working farm. She would be best with an active person and she would not do well cooped up in a small apartment all day. SHE IS A WORKING DOG. She is crate trained. She will go to her new home current on vaccines, heartworm tested(neg), current on preventives, deworming and microchipped. She will be spayed. She will receive a complete physical and a certificate of health issued by my vet prior to going home.The adopter will get all her health records with adoption. This handsome red heeler mix puppy is called Ernie and he and his brother Bert and their mom were found in a barn where they had been raised by their stray mother. Their mother was barely hanging on to life. The happy ending to her story is she is living with a wonderful family now and is loved and Ernie is looking for a wonderful family too raise him, love him, and bring his own special joy to. Ernie is a really delightful and well adjusted 6-month-old puppy that weighs 26 lb. He is a friendly little guy that enjoys meeting people and loves to chase a ball and bring it back to you. His innocence and love for life is contagious. He craves being with people that like him and speak kind words to him. He will crawl in your lap and be your best little buddy. His foster mom who raised he and his brother Bert says that he has the best temperament and personality. Recently this little guy went to a yoga class at the YMCA and had so much fun. It was a totally new and unique environment and he handled it with great poise and embraced all of the Zen vibes going on. Ernie is housebroken, crate trained, loves being around other cats and dogs alike and adores children. There isn't a living creature on this earth that he doesn't like. He is learning quite well,  how to walk on a leash and he rides in a car like a pro. He would be a great dog to take for hikes, long walks, outdoor events and adventures, and of course he would be a hit at any family reunions. Ernie is ready to call a family and their home his very own.
