Meet Bluey, the 'double shot of espresso' in pup form. This little Heeler dynamo is full of enthusiasm with so much love to give. She’s doing wonderfully in her foster home, though like any spirited puppy, she’s still perfecting her manners. Bluey has mastered the “sit” command while waiting for meals, treats and toys. All she truly wants is a quick pat on the head or some positive words and she is satisfied - a real happy go lucky gal. Bluey is housebroken, sweet, and well on her way to being the perfect companion. She sleeps like a dream in her crate at night, giving everyone a peaceful night’s rest. During the day, she’s a playful ball of energy, and a fenced yard where she can run and play fetch is just the kind of space this little adventurer needs. While Bluey is happy to play with other dogs, she is an “in-your-face” kind of pup—always ready to engage and explore with others. She’s also doing great on walks. Bluey pulls on the leash occasionally, but overall she’s a pleasure to take on adventures around the neighborhood. This gal is still learning to play with toys and, like most puppies, she has a little bit of a nippy side—but nothing that a loving home and consistent training won’t help her overcome. Because of her energy and her instinctual herding nature, a home with older kids (around 10 and up) or a family familiar with Heelers would be ideal. Bluey would thrive with people who understand her breed’s intelligence, drive, and love for life. Overall, Bluey is a fantastic pup—playful, loving, and loyal.
