Story
Our pets are fostered and physically located in NC until adopted. Once adopted we can deliver to your location or one of our north eastern delivery locations. We have a transporter who delivers north ever other week. Aggie came from a local shelter along with her pups. Aggie was surrendered because she was VERY PROTECTIVE over her puppies. The former owner had a small child in the home and she was concerned about her toddler's well being. Aggie had always been perfect with her family until her pups were born. Being a protective first time mom is ONLY NATURAL and to be expected, The shelter knew my love for heelers and they knew I would be patient with her. I have handled Aggie extensively and she is a good girl. She would be better with women verses men. She is good with other dogs and I think she would be great on a working farm. That is where she came from, a working farm. She would be best with an active person and she would not do well cooped up in a small apartment all day. SHE IS A WORKING DOG. She is crate trained. She will go to her new home current on vaccines, heartworm tested(neg), current on preventives, deworming and microchipped. She will be spayed. She will receive a complete physical and a certificate of health issued by my vet prior to going home. The adopter will get all her health records with adoption. We require a pre screen application to adopt. You can get that on our website at www.saveamuttkennel.net

Story
Are you on the naughty or nice list this year? Buffalo is on the nice list! Get ready to fall in love with Buffalo, the 2 year old fetch champion who brings endless joy to every room he enters! Buffalo is crate trained, loves riding in the car, and is a certified professional cuddler. He has never met another person or dog that he does not love. Buffalo is 50 lbs and would thrive in a home with a yard, or with a family that has another dog to play with. He would make a great walking, running, or hiking companion. Buffalo received his namesake after he was found swimming in Buffalo Bayou on a hot day. He was abandoned at the bayou’s dog park in Houston, TX - a prime dumping ground for dogs. Despite these challenges, he is optimistic and can't wait to move on to his next adventure. Will he be your new best friend?" We can drive this pup to your area! If you're interested in this cutie and you're in driving distance to Grimsby ON, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany, Brattleboro, Secaucus, or Hartford, please send us an inquiry here and we'll give you a call and video chat with the pup! Here's the link: https://sites.google.com/view/friendsfurlife/adoption-application Please copy/paste the above link into your browser ^ Our transport can take this pup to any of the above locations. (YES we also adopt to Canada!) There is NO transport fee. All is included in the adoption fee :) Thank you! We're looking forward to your inquiry!

Story
If you want to adopt Boots, fill out this application form FIRST!: https://form.jotform.com/243134969050053 Boots is currently in a foster home at a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near Rochester, New York or a city listed at the bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Boots is a mixed breed; our Apple AI guesses are all over the place. So, we are guessing Cattle Dog/Catahoula mix and just turned a year old (December 29th). -She's 32 pounds. -Came in with another dog and gets along with other dogs as well -Very, very friendly -Walks well on a leash -Quiet, well mannered. Doesn't bark much. -Her ears stand up straight when she hears something interesting. -Hates going in her kennel so we are assuming she is housebroken. If not, we are sure she can learn quickly. -We can test her with cats but we assume she wouldn't have any issue. Video of Boots: https://youtube.com/shorts/GBED4eHu94g?feature=share Boots is spayed, vaccinated (Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella), has been dewormed, a negative heartworm test (done on Dec 12th), on monthly flea/tick/HW prevention. Health certificate and exam will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport. Adoption fee is $650; this is including all vetting above and $250 transport cost. If you aren't contacted within 48 hours after filling out online form (LINK ABOVE), please contact us again at 580-257-0622 or luckypawsdoghouse@gmail.com.
