Story

Nala is a very energetic 4 year old mix breed with the most beautiful massive ears. I got Nala at 3 months old when a friend was no longer able to care for her and I have had her ever since. I was told her birthday is estimated around Dec 2020 and I celebrate on Xmas Eve. She loves squeak toys specifically balls to play with and enjoys fetch A LOT. I live in an apartment complex now and I try to give her at least an hour of play a day, she can always play longer. Unfortunately it is hard with her high energy and the time commitment she needs and I travel a lot for work. She is reactive with other dogs and there are many in the complex I live. It is not with all dogs but there does not seem to be a pattern to who she is okay with so I do keep her away from all dogs she is not familiar with. I am truly sad to part with Nala but would love to see her in a family with a big yard, the time to play with her and even take her on hikes or long walks on trails. Ask me anything!

Atlas is a REALLY nice laid back dog, a good companion for all. 8 yers old, He came to us with the worst skin condition, and sooooo very uncomfortable.. when we saw his picture we knew he had to be rescued. Well on his way to good health and his wonderful personality is coming out. Atlas is just a really good boy looking for a new start with his forever family. He is in foster with two fur foster siblings and doing great! He loves playing with toys, will go out into his fenced yard to potty, but runs right back in. You see Atlas spent his life chained outdoors, never saw the inside of a home. So now he has learned the warmth, love and comfort of a home and doesn't want to be outside for long! Can you blame him? Everyone, let's meet Penny!! Penny is believed to be 1 year old. She is fully vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. Penny weighs about 30 lbs. She is a young and playful red heeler mix. She loves to ride the golf cart to go to the dog park and play with friends. She has a sweet and patient personality but was found on the street and may take a while to learn to trust her person. She walks great on a leash and will sit or lay down if she is scared to walk somewhere. She is fully house trained and has a chair and her kennel as her safe spaces. She will “boop” you with her nose when she’s ready to go somewhere. She loves other dogs once the sniffing is over but she is very shy of humans. She needs a patient owner who will give her time to trust. Once she does, she will follow you everywhere. She will be fine living with active dogs her size or in an apartment if she has a dog park to go to each day. She loves to “herd” her owner and sometimes other dogs. If you want a sweet buddy that sleeps a lot but is also up for some doggy playtime, this girl is for you. Penny is being fostered in San Benito, TX but will make the trip to the east coast for an approved adopter. **Transportation cost is included in adoption fee. **.
