Story
Meet Kora- This baby girl is a day brightener!  Kora is social, friendly, happy, playful, smart, curious and affectionate.  Kora loves meeting people and is a happy social girl.  She has 3 dogs of of varying sizes in her foster home and Kora gets along great with all of them. Kora is a fun playful puppy. She likes to run around in the yard in the sunshine and then come back in the house and lay next to her human.  Chew bones and tennis balls are Koras favorite toys. She plays catch with herself by tossing the ball over the edge of the couch and fetching it. One minute Kora is a playful puppy, then next she is crashed out on the couch watching football with her humans.Kora is doing well learning all puppy things- she is curious and smart. The name Kora means Companion in Australia..........and she is Aussie Blue Heeler, so it fits her perfectly. She will be the BEST companion for anyone lucky enough to have her. Story
Hi! My name is April and I am the fun, happy pup that you are looking for! I came to MN with my eight babies (yes, eight!). They have all found families of their own and it is my time to shine! At just 38 pounds, I am the perfect size for just about anyone! Here are some special things about me:•I am a social butterfly, I love being around other dogs and people. I get so happy that my whole body wiggles! About dogs - I love to play with them all! I have played with bigger dogs and smaller dogs - they are all so fun!•I love to go on walks and can hardly contain my excitement when we meet another dog. I really don't like bikes or motorcycles - they are so unpredictable.•My best feature? Who can pic one? Everyone seems to like to see my ears flop like crazy when I prance and run around! The color of my coat is pretty interesting too - everyone says that pictures do not do it justice.•I’d describe myself as sweet and silly. My foster mom says there are so many fun things about me and that I am the perfect balance of chill and fun. If I have your attention, I’d love to show you that I could be the perfect addition to your family. We definitely should meet!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Story
Hi there! My name is Jess, but my foster family calls me Miss Jess. I just arrived in Minnesota and am so very happy to be here. My mom says I am a sweet, cuddly, happy puppy. I am currently working on potty-training, crate training, and getting used to walking on a leash. So far I have only had one accident in the house. I love to run around my big backyard and play with the two resident dogs. I am currently afraid of the resident cats and learning that they aren’t to be feared. I don’t chase after them either. My favorite toy so far is a small tennis ball that I can get my mouth around and I am trying to play fetch, and that will come. I am a bit timid, but once I get to know you, I will be your best friend. I would do best in a home with another dog to show me the ropes that are receptive to sharing toys and playing. I am in my chewing phase and easily redirected when needed. Could you be my next best friend? I would love to meet you and show you how irresistible I am and show off my ears. --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Story
Hi everyone! My name is Gracie, and I am brand new to Minnesota. I am a beautiful puppy with awesome features that are sure to make me stand out in a crowd! I have white and black fur that is very soft, and I have the most unique and stunning black speckled markings. Another thing that is extra special about me are by pretty eyes that are different colors (one blue and one brown)! My foster mom calls me a real stunner! In addition to my good looks, I love people and greet everyone I meet with the best tail wags. I also love to give gentle puppy kisses and sweet snuggles. I have been getting to know my foster fur siblings that include two dogs and two cats. We have been getting along great! I am learning lots of new things and Foster Mom calls me smart and a quick learner! I have already gone on some leash walks, like to hang out in my crate when I need a break from the action, and have been doing well with going potty outside (minimal accidents for me)! I have good treat manners too and know to sit for them.Life didn't start out the best for me and my sister who were left to fend for ourselves as young puppies, but that's a thing of the past and we are now a part of the lucky ones to be in rescue! I am a happy, healthy, and well-adjusted pup who is sooooo ready and excited to find her forever family! I would love a chance to meet you so you can see for yourself how truly wonderful I am.Thanks for considering me! XOXO Gracie--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Story
A portion of my adoption fee has been sponsored by my friends at The Murray Fund. The adoption fee sponsorship credit of $375.00 will be applied during the contract process. Hi, my name is Camilo. I am a local surrender. From the foster: Hi, I'm Camilo! My favorite thing to do is play fetch. If I have a ball then I'm super happy. I also like to explore new places and car rides for ice cream are pretty fun. I have quite a bit of energy and will let you know I am bored by shoving toys in your face. I also really enjoy cuddling and will curl up next to you on the couch anytime. I am a super sweet dog and I really love my people. I'm such a good boy that my foster family leaves me to have free range of the house while they're gone. I sleep with my foster mom and prefer it to a kennel but I am okay with either. I really hope to find my forever home with people that will love me as much as I love them! Camilo does have seasonal allergies and will occasionally need shots for it but is really easily managed. The biggest complication with him is he has some pretty severe people reactivity. He does amazing with us and is just fine with close friends and family that he has met many times. He doesn't like strangers to come in the house and is okay outside as long as people are far enough away. This is something we have been working on but he still has a good ways to go before he is able to be brought anywhere with people. This past winter he did just fine as less people are outside, however, with the nicer weather his reactivity became more apparent. He does just fine with most dogs, especially if they are smaller than him, and currently lives comfortably with another dog in the same space. He really is an amazing companion. He is super sweet and gentle when at home, just doesn't know how to manage his fears and needs some more extensive training.

Hi My name is Hail. From his foster:Hail is an exuberant happy puppy who is ready for adventure! He loves to be outside and play in the backyard and enjoys going on walks. He is working on walking nicely on the leash and not pulling. He is completely potty trained and does ask to go out when he needs to go potty. He is also is kennel trained and sleeps overnight in the kennel without complaining. Hail is very smart; food motivated and learns quickly. He is working on simple commands (sit, down, and coming when called) and doing well. He would be a great partner in anyone's life adventure!
