My name is Jess and I currently live with my foster family that has two resident dogs and a teenager. I am currently 40lbs, spayed and am told that I am the perfect size dog for anyone. I am a little timid when meeting people for the first time, but warm up quickly. I am potty trained, and use my crate when my people are not home. I am great at snuggling and love my people. I am an energetic girl, which enjoys balls, chew toys, water buffalo horns, and other toys. My foster mom said I would do well with an active person or family. I go on multiple walks a day and am well behaved on leash as well as playing in my yard. I know how to sit when asked with a treat and am very soft in the mouth when I take treats. I travel well in the car as long as it is in the back seat. I am very quiet and settle down quickly. I tend not to bark a lot, but will alert you when someone is at the door. I am the perfect size ( a little under 30 pounds) for cuddles but I also love running around outside and going on walks. I walk well on a leash but prefer to walk when there aren’t many other dogs around. I have to be the only pet in the house as I want all your attention and I am most comfortable with adults. I would be happiest in a quieter household with a regular routine. Besides being your bestie I love bones and food puzzles. Hi! I'm Biscoff. I'm from Texas. From her foster: Hi my name is Biscoff and everyone says I'm the sweetest dog. I'm very friendly and love being with people of all ages as well as with other dogs. Currently my absolute favorite thing to do is go to dog parks. I'm not shy so I will introduce myself to every person and dog at the park and initiate playing with them. I get lots of compliments from other dog owners about my sweet temperament. And they can't believe how good I am with little kids. My foster mom's 4 year old daughter loves to play with me, hug me ,cuddle with me ,and I'm always very gentle with her, even when she gets kind of wild. I get really excited when my foster mom and daughter get home. I also like it when other people come over, even strangers. I will run up to greet them. My foster mom is working with me on not jumping up on people. I just want them to pet me. I also will roll over for a belly rub. My second favorite thing to do is go on walks, the longer the better because I have lots of energy. I'm still considered a puppy at one year and 3 months of age. I tend to pull on the leash so I'm working on that too. When it's time to go to bed I would prefer to snuggle up with my foster mom in her bed but she prefers that I sleep in the kennel, I'm fine sleeping all night in my kennel. I also go in the kennel while my foster mom goes to work. I would love to have a back yard to spend time in. I think I'd be fine with a single person forever home or with a family of any size. If you have another dog for me to play with that would be nice. I'd be fine if I got all the attention as well. If you have some love to give, get ahold of The Bond Between. I won't let you down. She likes meeting new people and dogs and is willing to socialize once she is comfortable Lady would do best in a home with another dog to continue to build her confidence, but would be okay as an only dog as long as someone is willing to work work her. Sweet Lady came from a hoarding type situation on a farm and is doing an amazing job adjusting to her new life. Lady is the SWEETEST!
