Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.     Rza pronounced (Rizza) is a 39lb spayed female who is about 5 years old and waiting to be your best friend! She is a wonderful companion dog - loving and devoted to her people. She loves cuddling on the couch and will sleep with you. Rza is just a charmer with extremely soft fur and a cute smooshy face and beautiful deep brown eyes! Rza is generally a pretty calm dog most of the time - and like many of us in the winter time, is a little "fluffy" right now from too many treats.    Rza is fully potty trained and lets you know when she needs to go out with a couple special barks. She loves eating grass in the summer and relaxing in the sun, taking breaks to roll in the fresh smelly lawn. On colder days, Rza loves laying on her bed in front of the heating vent in the winter and playing in the snow. he likes being brushed and loves lick mats.     She loves tug of war and fetch for about 10-15 minutes at a time, then she takes her ball away and chews on it. She is food motivated except on walks or when she is a little nervous. But oh, does she love walks! Rza's foster is working on her barking when she sees another dog on walks. She is very clumsy and will accidentally knock children over - so no small kids would be best!   Rza came from living outdoors in North Dakota where she was attacked several times by packs of dogs twice her size. Because of this, she is dog selective and would prefer to be the only pup in the home - she won't be a dog you can take to a dog park or a brewery. However, she can play with single dogs her size (40 lbs) who are used to a rougher play style, but occasionally will become overstimulated so play should be supervised at all times. There's the chance that she may be able to live with an older similar sized calmer dog. Rza does have resource guarding with toys and food, which is another reason why she might be happier as a solo dog. If you would like to learn more about Rza, please submit an interest form on our website:      https://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/ If you are viewing this listing on PETFINDER there is often MORE INFO ON and MORE PICS OF the animal DIRECTLY ON OUR WEBSITE. redemptionroad.mn@gmail.com Follow us on Facebook & Instagram! https://www.facebook.com/RedemptionRoadRescue/ @RedemptionRoadRescueMN *Adoption fee for Rza is $395 + MN tax* All animals fully vetted appropriate for age: spayed/neutered, rabies vaccine, DHPP vaccine, 4DX test (@12 months or older), microchipped with lifetime registration, dewormed, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention.  *Since we typically don't know a rescue dogs actual genetics, their breed and estimated size when grown on their bio is just an educated guess based on information and observations we have.*  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 14, 2025, 7:58 am

Date of Birth: 9/4/2025 Dog friendly: Yes Cat friendly: Yes Kid friendly: Yes Message from Barkley: Hello to my future family! I had an amazing weekend at my foster family's cabin, where I tried so many new things that I’ve really come to enjoy—like ice fishing, relaxing in the cabin, chewing on bully sticks, playing in the snow and on the ice, getting belly rubs from Nana, and lounging on a big, cozy dog bed. I truly love being outside, enjoying the snow, spending time with people, and embracing life! I'm looking forward to finding my fur-ever home, where my new family will enjoy adventures with me and keep helping me learn how to be a well-behaved dog. I've been doing well sleeping in my kennel at night, and I always use the bathroom when I go outside, which is pretty great! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.McCartney and his siblings found themselves stuck in a high kill shelter in West Texas as very young puppies. They are great pups and are good with other dogs, cats and people.   All dogs and puppies require supervision and training to be successful.  McCartney has been coming out of his shell. He is timid with new people but opening up more each week at events to strangers and at home each day. He likes chin and booty scratches.  He will snuggle with you in time and gives the gentlest tiniest kisses. He loves other dogs and would do well a home with another dog to show him the ropes, but it is not a requirement; added patience will be needed if he's an only pup. He plays perfectly with dogs as well as  independently, often found throwing the toys in the air to entertain himself. He is the ultimate stuffy killer but it's oh so fun to watch him enjoy the moment.  He walks beautifully on leash, knows sit, has a good recall, is gentle when taking treats and trys hard to figure out what you are asking of him with a treat in hand. He is good in his kennel while the foster is at work, he will also go chill in there as well when he needs a break all on his own. He's doing great on potty training with only a few accidents here and there. He pays no attention to the cats in the home. He would make a lovely addition to any home that is willing to give him a little time for a big reward of love and silliness Please put in your application on our website mattysheartandsoulanimalrescue.rescuegroups.org.      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 16, 2025, 10:48 am

YOU WILL FIND THE ANSWER TO ALL BASIC QUESTIONS BELOW. Please read carefully Before emailing. *If you have emailed using an “Apple ID” or other relay system you will Not recieve a response as they block Petfinder. All emails are answered within 24 hours. If you have not received a response in 24 hours we did not receive your email so please email again! This dog is fostered near Marine on St Croix MN. Tilly is a purebred ACD born 7-4-25. She currently weighs about 15 pounds. She will likely be around 25 pounds as an adult. The rest of Tilly’s siblings were sold by the breeder to a pet store. They didn’t take Tilly because she is missing half of one ear. We think that just makes her extra cute! You may remember Tilly being posted several months ago. Unfortunately, she was dropped by an adult during a meet and greet, resulting in four broken bones in her foot. Tilly went through weeks of casting and bandage changes, and thankfully, her foot is now completely healed. She is continuing to gain strength and mobility after months of crate rest. Her new family will need to ensure that she remains active and is not allowed to become obese. Tilly likes other nice dog friends. She requests a home with a doggie best friend if possible! She currently lives with Meg and several resident dogs. She lives with older, dog savvy kids as well. Tilly will not be a good candidate for a home with very young children who could re-injure her leg. Tilly is crate trained and house trained when kept on a schedule. She would do great in a basic training class to learn good things with a new family too. A little time and she is going to be your very best friend. *Each pup is spayed or neutered and current on their vet cares. *We do not hold or reserve dogs. We do not ship or fly. Prospective families must come to the dogs location in MN to meet.* *Emails are answered in the order they are received. We are receiving a large number of emails, so answering promptly is our goal. If you are interested in adoption, your prompt responses are the best way to get through the adoption screening* *Adoption fees are payable in cash or money order only. No personal checks, credit cards / Square, etc. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DENY ADOPTIONS AT ANY POINT IN THE ADOPTION SCREENING PROCESS.* If you have read this far, you are ready to start the adoption process! He loves to stretch his legs with a good run or yard zoomies, then happily settle in your lap for snuggles. Scout is selective with unfamiliar dogs and not a dog park candidate. With structure and thoughtful an slow introductions, he can do great. At home, he’s easygoing and loving, but he’d do best in a child-free home where he can feel relaxed. He’s had training in the past and thrives with routine, exercise, and space to run. Goofy, loyal, and endlessly special—Scout is ready for the right family to love him just as he is.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  or    When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.  Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS.  We do not transport to potential adopters. He does his best sleeping in a room with a human and is accustomed to sleeping on his dog bed, but will wander and be busy all night if allowed. Brock understands basic commands. We are working on maintaining these skills when in stimulating environments, which makes it much harder for him. Brock is a very busy mind and wound benefit from someone with skills or someone who is ready to take on training to help create a physically and mentally stimulating environment. We are focused on leash walking, focusing commands ('look at me') retrieval play, and 'leave it' commands.    Brock is very sweet and wants to be in someone's company. He loves morning snuggles and can be busy for hours playing fetch, walking, or if you are very daring- a little rollerblading. Brock would do best in a single dog home, with an active family or with a fenced in yard, as he is a high energy pup.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  or    When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.  Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS.  We do not transport to potential adopters. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee $300 plus taxPatsy is such a sweet and loving dog. She is protective of her people and home. When new people come to her home Patsy wants to let them know they are in HER house, as a working dog, this is her job. We have been working with Patsy so she can have another job when new people come over. Patsy goes into her kennel on command and has a chew toy to 'work with'. She will bark for a bit and then calm down. She then can come out of her kennel to meet the new person while on a leash. She will need to continue this training, but is a very smart dog and catches on quickly. Patsy is good with our resident dogs and cat. She would do best in a home with another very active dog to play with or with a family who will exercise her regularly. She likes to talk (bark) a lot so would not be a good pet in a home with shared walls. She gets very excited when we get ice from our refridgerator's ice dispenser. She will bark and then get a toy and swing it around until she gets a piece of ice. She looks like she is smiling the entire time.
