My friends taking care of me are hoping to find me a home so they can make room in foster homes for more pups in need.*Garner's adoption fee has been fully sponsored thanks to a generous donor*Hi! My name is Garner, but my foster parents call me their big goofball. As you can see, I’m a very handsome pup! I loved meeting my three resident dog siblings and have a great time playing with them all day long. I prefer to meet new friends off leash where we can run and play rather than being held back because it makes me a little anxious. A few more things about me:- I know how to sit, lay down, and wait!- I'm potty trained!- I love meeting new people so much that sometimes I sing to them!- My safe place is being completely snuggled in under a blanket!- I'm really good at watching the critters wander around my fenced in backyard!- I've met a couple cats in my life when I go to the dog sitter's house and haven't minded them either!- I don't think living in an apartment would be my favorite thing because there are lots of shared noises that keep me on alert.I do really good in my kennel too. I sleep in there over night, eat my meals in there, and sometimes sneak into there for an afternoon nap even when the people are home. I used to spend the day in my kennel when my foster parents were away and loved it but I'm a good responsible boy so I earned the privilege to stay out all day with my foster siblings.I would love to meet you and make a happy addition to your family!--------------------------------------------"Clear the Shelter" PromoFor applications received from 6/15/2024 through 6/30/2024, Warrior Dog Rescue is reducing the adoption fee of all pups over 1 year old. This is reflected in the adoption fee shown below.*Training discounts do not apply*All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spay/neuter before adoption unless age is a factor with a puppy younger than 6-12 months at the time of adoption. If that is the case, the spay/neuter will be covered in the adoption fee and the owner will be responsible to have the procedures completed at a Warrior Dog Rescue Veterinarian at the appropriate time. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $0To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Story
My friends taking care of me are hoping to find me a home so they can make room in foster homes for more pups in need.Hi! My name is April and I am the fun, happy pup that you are looking for! I came to MN with my eight babies (yes, eight!). They have almost all found families of their own and I am ready for one too. Here are some special things about me:•I am a social butterfly, I love being around people. I get so happy that my whole body wiggles! Other dogs are fun too - I love to play with them all! I have played with bigger dogs and smaller dogs - they are all so fun!•I love to go on walks and would probably make someone a great running buddy.•My best feature? My ears! They flop like crazy when I prance and run around! The color of my coat is pretty interesting too - everyone says that pictures do not do it justice.•I’d describe myself as sweet and silly. My foster mom says there are so many fun things about me. But, if I have your attention, I’d love to show you that I could be the perfect addition to your family. We definitely should meet!--------------------------------------------"Clear the Shelter" PromoFor applications received from 6/15/2024 through 6/30/2024, Warrior Dog Rescue is reducing the adoption fee of all pups over 1 year old. Hi, I'm Sweet pea! I’m a girl that has it all in a perfect package. I’m as beautiful as the flower and as sweet as the vegetable also the goofiest smarty-pants you'll ever meet! My tail is always wagging, and I've got a knack for turning frowns upside down. I ended up here in rescue after I mistook the mailman's bag for a giant chew toy. Whoops! I thought he was delivering a lifetime supply of doggie treats. My bad! I'm a bundle of joy wrapped in fur, always ready to play and cuddle. I'm a pro at snuggling right into your neck when I'm sleepy. If you're looking for a loyal friend who's always up for a laugh, then I'm your girl. Adopt me, and let's create our own comedy show together!Lots of love Sweet pea--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Story
Howdy Hoomans, so happy to meat you! Stanley's my name and melting hearts is my game. My 55lbs are packed into a pint sized body and I have endless love to give. I keep everyone around me smiling and giggling because I often stick out my tongue. My foster family says it's UNBEARABLY adorable (and I'm sure you'll agree!)My fosters say I'm the most low-maintenance, easy-going foster they've ever had, and I prove them right everyday. I don't jump up on people and never use my bark (not even when the crazy neighbor dog barks or UPS driver knocks)! I'm 100% house-trained and happily sleep in my kennel every night. (But if you like company I also love to sleep on the bed!) I'm extremely food motivated, which means that I'm a VERY fast learner, but I don't need much training because I'm so low key.Yes, I'm heartworm positive, but I'm the easiest HW+ pup that ever was - I'm happy being calm all day! My #1 favorite thing is to just be with my Hoomans... and even if I'm unexpectedly energetic, all I need is a good sniff session in the yard to feel occupied. Big or small, this southern beau will make your home complete... Submit an application so we can meat!***FOSTER TO ADOPT***Stanley is Heartworm positive and is currently going through treatment. Once his treatment is complete, the adoption can be finalized. Once his adoption is finalized, it is the responsibility of the adoptive family to get a Heartworm test every 2 months to follow up on his treatment progress until he has a negative result which can take 2-9 months. During these months, you will need to make sure his heart rate is not elevated due to high energy play or exercise. Stanley will also need continued use of monthly Heartworm prevention going forward. These medical needs will be the responsibility of the adopter. If you are interested in adopting Stanley, please fill out an adoption application. --------------------------------------------"Clear the Shelter" PromoFor applications received from 6/15/2024 through 6/30/2024, Warrior Dog Rescue is reducing the adoption fee of all pups over 1 year old.
