My name is Bart and I am a super cuddly and affectionate guy. I love to give and receive kisses.  Belly rubs are pretty much my favorite thing in the whole world. I willingly lay on back and stay that way until I get my fill of belly rubs. Then, I am off to do something new! I like to play with my brothers and my two large resident dogs, who are starting to like me ....Who could blame them? I am working on always going potty outside, which if I say so myself, I a doing a pretty darn good job. Don't have a cow man! In case you are wondering, I am a curious and calm puppy that loves to play and nap outside. Overall, I am a pretty great little guy. If you would like to meet me, I would like to meet you too. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee $350 plus taxMeet Lulu, her curious nature keeps her exploring, sniffing out new adventures in every corner. Lulu's intelligence is evident in her quick learning of commands and tricks, while her loyalty is unquestionable, always returning to your side. She's full of energy, making her the perfect companion for active individuals or couples. Lulu does need slower intros with other dogs. Please note, Lulu would do best in a home without children. Adopting Lulu means gaining a loving, loyal friend who will fill your days with joy and activity.    Lulu would do just fine by herself. She would also be great with a fenced area. People coming in and out would take a little while for her to get used to them, but with loving family and affection it'll work. She is very quiet when there's no excitement happening. Lulu loves walking alongside or near you.Lulu has never been around cats so we are unsure of how she would be with them- she does like to chase bunnies and squirrels in the yard. If you have previously applied with us please email adoptionatmars@gmail.com  to reactivate your application with new interest.       Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  or    *The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility and does not come with a pedigree. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. Sometimes the pets appear to be a particular breed(s) in the pictures we receive from our rescue partners and when they arrive we are surprised to see an entirely different breed(s) in person!  If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess. It is with deep longing that we wish there was a breed called 'cute' as we believe all of our dogs would fall under this new breed classification! Completion of an Adoption Application via our website www.midwestanimalrescue.org is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is the first step in our adoption process.  *Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.  Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance. //

Story
Hi everyone! My name is Alexis but my foster family calls me Lexi. I’m about a 5 1/2 year old mini Aussie with a heart of gold. I can be very shy when I first meet you but will warm up quickly. I'm unsure of my foster dogs and ignores the cats completely. I am potty trained and will go to the door or pace when i need to go out. I only had one accident but my foster mom thinks it’s because I was so scared. I love being outside. I have a fenced in yard so haven’t had much experience on a leash yet. I greet people when they come to visit and love the compliments and pets i get. Unsure of how she’d handle children. I haven’t been around little kids but I don’t like loud noises so I don’t think I’d do very good. I’m a snuggle bug and will give kisses, if you ask. I will go into my kennel but I prefer to be where my people are. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, dental, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
