My name is Jess and I currently live with my foster family that has two resident dogs and a teenager. I am currently 40lbs, spayed and am told that I am the perfect size dog for anyone. I am a little timid when meeting people for the first time, but warm up quickly. I am potty trained, and use my crate when my people are not home. I am great at snuggling and love my people. I am an energetic girl, which enjoys balls, chew toys, water buffalo horns, and other toys. My foster mom said I would do well with an active person or family. I go on multiple walks a day and am well behaved on leash as well as playing in my yard. I know how to sit when asked with a treat and am very soft in the mouth when I take treats. I travel well in the car as long as it is in the back seat. I am very quiet and settle down quickly. I tend not to bark a lot, but will alert you when someone is at the door. Hi, my name is Jojo, will you be my best friend? I certainly want to be yours and will make sure you feel loved and paid attention to all the time. I am the perfect size ( a little under 30 pounds) for cuddles but I also love running around outside and going on walks. I walk well on a leash but prefer to walk when there aren’t many other dogs around. I have to be the only pet in the house as I want all your attention and I am most comfortable with adults. I would be happiest in a quieter household with a regular routine. Besides being your bestie I love bones and food puzzles. I do my best to listen to commands like sit and lay down and am ready to learn more. I truly aim to please always. I am fully potty trained and crate trained. I am used to sleeping in my crate and eating in there too. I am a local surrender. From the foster: Hi, I'm Camilo! My favorite thing to do is play fetch. If I have a ball then I'm super happy. I also like to explore new places and car rides for ice cream are pretty fun. I have quite a bit of energy and will let you know I am bored by shoving toys in your face. I also really enjoy cuddling and will curl up next to you on the couch anytime. I am a super sweet dog and I really love my people. I'm such a good boy that my foster family leaves me to have free range of the house while they're gone. I sleep with my foster mom and prefer it to a kennel but I am okay with either. I really hope to find my forever home with people that will love me as much as I love them! Camilo does have seasonal allergies and will occasionally need shots for it but is really easily managed. The biggest complication with him is he has some pretty severe people reactivity. He does amazing with us and is just fine with close friends and family that he has met many times. He doesn't like strangers to come in the house and is okay outside as long as people are far enough away. This is something we have been working on but he still has a good ways to go before he is able to be brought anywhere with people. This past winter he did just fine as less people are outside, however, with the nicer weather his reactivity became more apparent. He does just fine with most dogs, especially if they are smaller than him, and currently lives comfortably with another dog in the same space. He really is an amazing companion. He is super sweet and gentle when at home, just doesn't know how to manage his fears and needs some more extensive training.

Hi! My name is Shindig and I am from Arkansas. From his foster: Shindig is probably the cuddliest puppy we have ever fostered! He LOVES CUDDLES, and LOVES kids! If you sit on the floor (or couch) he immediately wants to be in your lap. If you don't leave enough room on your lap, he will curl up behind in you in your chair. He also LOVES toys and playing both inside and out. He does great with dogs, cats, and kids! He loves to wrestle, tug, and play with other dogs, but after a good round of zoomies flops down for a nap. He loves to follow a kiddo around the house and does great with being "manhandled." Crate training is going super well, he may just voice his displeasure for a little bit when you leave him home alone. He sleeps in a crate in our room overnight without a peep and sleeps through the night! As far as potty training, he is doing great on a schedule and comes running for his treat when he's finished his business. He has been learning to ring the bell on the door to signal he has to go out, but he's not 100% solid yet and may have an accident or two, but he is smart and learning quick! If you're ready for puppy snuggles and shenanigans, Shindig will make a great addition to your family! From the Vet: Shindig has a condition called color dilution alopecia. He will live with some level of hair loss his whole life, but this is not something that needs medical management at this time.
