Story
🌟Joey Tyler! 🌟 Now being fostered in Pittsburg PA ! But can be transported to the East Coast and PNW Joey is an energetic and bouncy 10 month old Blue Heeler and Aussie mix. He loves walks and hiking, chasing, digging, chewing, obedience training, and watching TV. He loves to learn, and is food motivated. Joey is fully house broken and crate trained, and he knows most basic commands - “come, sit, stay, drop it, leave it, up, down, gentle, look, and crate”. He is good on a leash and well tempered on walks, not reactive towards people or dogs passing by. So far he has proven great with most all other dogs, and loves to play with older kids (but he was too much for the little ones under 6yrs old). And he did well when meeting goats and horses, although does not have experience with them yet. Joey has never met a cat, as far as I know, and would probably like to chase it. He loves to play chase and would thrive in a home with breed experience and a way to channel his fun energy! Ready for lots of love and adventures? Georgie is waiting for his forever home! 🐾 Don't miss out on this amazing boy! Story
INTRODUCING ARIA🩷 Aria is an affectionate 9-month-old Border Collie/Labrador mix that is seeking her new family through PAWS Rescue inc. Aria has a natural curiosity and a quick mind. Eager to learn and impress, she would excel in agility training or any mentally engaging activity. Aria is fully house-trained, comfortable in her kennel, and happiest when she’s with her people or enjoying playtime with another dog. Aria can be left un-kenneled while gone and is a perfect princess. She walks well on a leash, making her an excellent companion for daily strolls, and is wonderful with kids. While she may be tempted to chase cars, her playful energy and charm make her a delightful addition to any home. Her behavior with cats is still unknown. She needs a securely fenced yard and would do well with another playful dog in the home.

Story
Meet Lovable Louie! He is about 11 pounds, 8 weeks old, and we think he may be an Australian Cattledog/Boxer mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Louie’s video here: Get ready to be mesmerized by this lovable and loving pup! Louie has quite the mesmerizing stare - gaze deeply into his eyes and you too will be a huge Louie fan. When he lowers his head and looks up at you through his wrinkles and with such expressiveness - well, it’s a lost cause. You will be hopelessly in love with this handsome little guy, just like us. We have made Louie promise to only use his expressive eye power for good....and extra treats and soft stuffies. And maybe extra belly rubs too. You know, the important stuff. This handsome fellow is so striking and guaranteed to turn heads. Louie is mostly white, with brown on either side of his face and ears, and few matching brown spots on his side and back. Even his tail is mostly white, with brown at the base. He is such a distinctive fellow and his wrinkles just beg for your attention - you will want to snuggle and squish this cutie, and Louie will let you! He will absorb any attention you give him and delight in the affection. Louie is very playful and loves soft stuffies to snuggle and chew toys. He is curious and adventurous, and full of playful puppy antics. Join the Louie Fan Club today and apply to adopt Louie into your family! Louie is currently in a loving foster home with his two brothers and foster siblings (and even a cat), so he is used to playing with other dogs of all sizes. Louie and his brothers are sleeping through the night and starting to learn all the puppy ropes. Their days are mostly spent living the classic puppy life - eat, sleep, play, and repeat. Don’t wait to adopt this super social cuddlebug and bring the uber Lovable Louie into your life! Louie is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/671aff473f280deb4b00567c Please email michelleboswell@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Story
***NEEDS FUREVER HOME*** Currently in Boise, ID Meet affectionate ~7-month-old, 24 lb PAPRIKA who was lucky to score a loving foster home in mid-June with other dogs and a cat. She is now looking for a furever home without small kids. Foster mom is learning a lot about PAPRIKA who she renamed KYVAH. KYVAH is a typical active puppy who needs a patient family to help her with socialization. KYVAH is already house-trained and crate-trained. She is smart and has lots of potential, but she appears scared (barks or backs away) and does not have the self-confidence to be able to greet strangers. Foster mom is working on more socialization with people by bringing her on walks with her mobility scooter. KYVAH likes to play with other dogs (check out video of her with big dog AZURE and foster sibling) and is fine with the resident cat (see video). She does show herding behaviors (e.g., nipping), so we are likely looking for a home without small children. KYVAH is happy playing at home in her yard and gets lots of enrichment through dog puzzles. She is still showing separation anxiety, so would prefer a family with someone home a lot. We also know that KYVAH gets extremely car-sick, so may not be a good dog for adventures. Complete an easy, online foster or adoption application to meet KYVAH in Boise. https://www.friendsfureveranimalrescue.com/pawlytics-dog-adoption-application BACKGROUND: Found stray in Jerome County with her sister PEPPER and dad, PATCHES. Story
***NEEDS FOREVER HOME*** Currently in Malta, ID ---POSSIBLE THERAPY DOG--- Meet 8 month old, 23-lb BOB who was hit by a car and has already had 3 surgeries to repair both upper leg bones. Fortunately, we scored an excellent, experienced medical foster home who has nursed BOB back to a healthy condition and socialized him, so he is ready for his furever home. His furever family just needs to know that he will have some physical limitations. BOB needs to gain strength and endurance which will come in time. From the foster mom's perspective, BOB is an absolute charmer! He loves a lot of attention. He bonded quickly with her and has become a velcro dog. He's still skittish around strangers (especially men). He will let you know when he needs to go outside or hungry or just wants some cuddle time. BOB is great with cats, dogs, chickens, rabbits...all kinds of animals. He shows no food or other resource reactivity with animals or people. BOB is house-trained and crate-trained (it is his safe place). He has been trained to stay off of furniture. He has been taught to walk beside his handler even without a leash. BOB is still getting used to getting into vehicles, but once he gets in, he really enjoys going for a ride and he's very well-behaved. Foster mom believes that BOB would make a really good therapy dog because he seems to have a lot of empathy when someone is sad or lonely. So BOB isn't perfect...if BOB doesn't get your attention or if he is left free in the house while you do an errand, he will make his presence known...he will find a work glove or slipper or tennis shoe and chews on it. What's interesting about this, is he gets one shoe/slipper from every person in the house! This bonded pair of Husky/Kelpie mix, approximately 4 years old are the best dogs and would make a great addition to any family! Hello! We are Chet and Ruby. We are brother and sister, and a bonded pair, which means it’s important that we are adopted together. We have been together our whole lives and have only had each other.  We were pulled off the euthanasia list from an out of state shelter after being surrendered due to no fault of our own.  We are very well mannered. We are house trained, crate trained, we don’t beg when the humans are eating and love to play with all sizes of dogs. We are not good with kitties. We want to chase them. We love kids of all sizes. Frankly we have never met a person we didn’t love. We love to go on walks and be outside enjoying the sunshine. We would love to have any active family to love on us. We love our car rides and are well behaved. Our adoption fee of 400.00 for both of us includes spay/neuter, microchip, up to date on vaccines.
