Story
We got her from a friend that was moving out of state and couldn't take her. She is amazing, calm and an amazing cuddler! She is 8 years old, so a senior dog, that's mellow and easy to care for. Hoping she goes to someone who can cuddle her and take her on walks and give her the attention a senior dog like her deserves. I can no longer take care of her due to financial and health issues.

Story
LL Bean is a male puppy born August 3, 2024. Wisdom Panel DNA showed 77% Australian Cattle Dog, single-digit% Mini-American Shepherd, Border Collie, Golden Retriever, Australian Shepherd, trace% Collie. If you have ever watched video of people playing with pandas you already understand the vibe of LL Bean. He’s fun-loving, affectionate, rolls with the program. Sensitive yet resilient, thoughtful, funny Mr. Bean loves to explore and needs exciting adventures in his life, but at the end of a good day he will cuddle with his person on the couch and give/soak up as much love as there is time. Pictures taken in late October/early November show that this foodie already weighs 23 pounds. Like all dogs, he thinks meal and snack time should be celebrated and enjoyed, so be prepared to indulge him. The pampering will be returned many times over. LL Bean’s adoption fee is $300 and an additional deposit of $200 will be refunded upon proof of neuter, which is a requirement when he is between the ages of 6 and 12 months. If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting LL Bean, please complete an adoption applicaiton located here: https://idawg.org/application.html

Story
HI - I'M PENNY! I'm a sweet and shy 1-year-old-old Australian Cattle Dog mix, in need of a foster or forever home. I was rescued from a California shelter on my last day and now am safe! The experience was a scary one for me, but I'm finally now coming out of my shell. I will make a great companion for an active single person, a couple or a family with older kids. I weigh only 45-50 lbs. Please email for an application.

Butch Otter is a male puppy born August 3, 2024. Wisdom Panel DNA showed 77% Australian Cattle Dog, single-digit% Mini-American Shepherd, Border Collie, Golden Retriever, Australian Shepherd, trace% Collie. At the time of the photos, early November, 2024, Butch weighed 19 pounds. Good-natured Butch looked very much like a little otter in his first weeks; hence the nickname honoring Idaho’s long-time governor. Affable and entertaining, Butch doesn’t try to be a bigshot; he just enjoys being part of a pack and having fun. His caretaker says he’s adventurous, like a little land rover. He is what dog behaviorists call a “blank slate” – very much a desired trait. Butch will fit in anywhere, whether joining a family with dogs, or having a constant companion who will nurture him and bring out greatness that may well be waiting in his smart mind and winsome personality. Butch’s adoption fee is $300 and an additional deposit of $200 will be refunded upon proof of neuter, which is a requirement when he is between the ages of 6 and 12 months. If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Butch, please complete an adoption applicaiton located here: https://idawg.org/application.html

Story
My sister's friend had to move and could only take 2 dogs, so they picked the ones they loved most and left Loki with my sister, my sister had 4 dogs at the time and could not care for him. So she dropped him off with me. That was 2 years ago. This dog was left outside all his life. He does not know how to act inside, he pees everywhere and runs around and knocks things over, he is not aware of his surroundings, he doesn't have an off switch. It's like he's on drugs, he's always go go go. He never lays down unless he is in a kennel or outside. He needs a high active person, someone who hikes everyday or something. He is dumber than rocks, I have tried giving him a job working cattle, he's not cut out for it. I take him camping, but it's not enough for him. He needs someone who can keep up with him. He may be 6 years old, but he acts like a puppy.

Story
Meet Turkey! This sweet little gal joined us when she was found as a pregnant stray. Just a young dog herself, Turkey had a litter of 6 healthy babies that she did a great job raising. Now we want to make her the baby! Turkey is a bit shy, but is always smiling. She is very clean, potty trained, quiet, and well behaved. She would love to be a part of a family. Her foster home has dogs and cats. She also knows how to use the dog door to go outside and go potty. Spay, microchip, and current vaccines all included in her adoption fee.
