Story
Little Rylen is 3 years old and looking for his very own family! Rylen joined our rescue when he was found as a stray as a puppy. Rylen loves to play with other dogs and bounces around like the happy puppy that he is. He has a wonderful play style and is very respectful to other dogs. He is a dog that wants and needs to be involved in his owner's life. He loves to learn and is super proud of himself when he nails something new. He will be the perfect match for someone that loves running in the foothills, mountain biking, walking the greenbelt, can take their dog to work, or is simply committed to getting him some daily exercise. After his morning walk, he is a low energy guy who is happy to lay around the house. He is crate trained and comfortable in his kennel. Neuter, current vaccines, and microchip included in his adoption fee. Please start with the adoption form: freedomboundhounds.com/adopt Rylen is based in Boise, but is available for direct adoption throughout the PNW with transport included at no extra charge.

Story
Meet Pugsley! This sweet baby is one of our 9 "Wednesday litter" we have in our rescue. We pulled Mama and babies (Mama's picture is also included in the photoset) from euthanasia in Texas. She and her babies are currently settled in a foster home. These sweet babies are ready to go to their forever homes now! Pugsley is very well socialized and loves to cuddle. He also knows basic training like "sit, down, touch". He's very smart and will make a wonderful addition to a family. He was born at the beginning of October, so he's just over 3 months old. Spay/neuter, microchip, and current vaccines all included in their adoption fee. If you are interested in getting set up to adopt one of these babies please apply below: freedomboundhounds.com/adopt

Story
Meet Paco – Your Loyal Shadow and Playful Pup Paco is a handsome brown and white hound mix with a heart as big as his floppy ears. This affectionate boy is thriving in his foster home and is now ready to find a forever family of his very own — ideally one with a fenced yard, a playful dog friend, and humans who will include him in their daily life. He really loves children and will happily play with them for hours. He bonds deeply and loves nothing more than being close to his people. Paco is house-trained, crate trained, great on a leash, and eager to please. He loves to romp and wrestle with other dogs and is surprisingly respectful around chickens — a true southern gentleman. He has been around cats and does well with them. After a fun day, Paco prefers to sleep snuggled up with his foster mom, but he also does great overnight in a crate when needed. Being outdoors is Paco’s happy place. He enjoys exploring, sunbathing, and relaxing in the grass, and he’s a fan of splashing in the water to cool off on warm days. Car rides are becoming more comfortable for him, and with continued positive experiences, he’ll soon be a confident travel buddy. He will need antinausea medication to travel, however. Paco is the perfect match for someone seeking a loyal, cuddly, dog-friendly companion with a sweet spirit and a playful heart. If you’re ready for a devoted shadow who will follow you from the garden to the couch, look no further — Paco is ready to love you for life. Paco is being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX and is not available for transport out of state. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. To apply directly for Paco, push the "Apply for Adoption" button. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-722 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy’s team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle your new family member into your home. Story
Lucy 2 Years Old Cattle Dog Mixed Fostered in Mountain Home Spayed, UTD on Vaccines, Microchipped Lucy is a 2-year-old Cattle Dog mix with the biggest heart and the sweetest soul. Weighing about 40 pounds, she’s the perfect medium-sized companion for adventures and couch snuggles alike. Lucy may have just one eye (from an unknown previous injury or possible birth defect), but she sees the world with nothing but joy and love. She’s incredibly people-oriented and truly happiest when she’s with her humans. Whether it’s playing a game of fetch, riding along on car adventures, or curling up on the couch for snuggles and belly rubs, Lucy is all in. She is wonderful with children, gentle and patient, and does great with other dogs. Lucy has also been around farm animals and handles new environments with confidence. She does have a bit of a herding instinct and may chase cats, but she has shown no signs of wanting to hurt them. Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, Lucy has already overcome a lot in her young life. She was treated for heartworm and is now fully cleared and healthy, ready for her fresh start. Lucy is currently working on crate training and is doing well as she continues to learn routines and expectations. She’s a smart, affectionate girl who wants to please and will thrive with consistency and love. If you’re looking for a resilient, joyful companion who loves deeply, enjoys life’s simple pleasures, and will happily be your shadow, Lucy may be the perfect addition to your family. Lucy is being cross posted with Fuzzy Pawz Rescue and Pug Pals Rescue for additional exposure to help with his adoption. DO NOT email us, you must fill out an application if interested: Adoption Application: https://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/

Story
HI - I'M TARA! I'm a 1-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix in need of a foster or forever home. As a puppy I was rescued from a crowded California shelter along with my pals (or maybe littermates) Tulip & Travis - they need homes, too, though we do not need to be adopted together. I'm a gentle girl who loves other dogs, and I love people. I am shy so a quiet household would be best, though I'll surely come out of my shell once I know and trust you. I am a pretty brindle color with a sweet face. I weigh only 35-40 lbs. Can you foster or adopt me? Please email for an application.
