Story
Susie is a one-year-old pup with lots of energy and an even bigger heart. She came to us from Southern Utah as an undersocialized dog, but thanks to the patience and dedication of her foster family, she has made wonderful progress with socialization and manners—and she’s finally confident enough to go on a leashed walk! Susie is shy, but once she warms up, she’s friendly with people, dogs, and even cats. She would thrive in an active home that continues to work on her manners, build her confidence, and introduce her to new experiences. Having another dog in the home would be a big bonus for Susie—both to help show her the ropes and to give her a playful companion.

Story
🐾 Meet Bandit! 🐾 Bandit is a handsome, medium-sized pup (about 30 pounds) who came to rescue after living on a reservation in Utah. He’s around 1.5 years old and a true “Heinz 57” mix — whatever he is, he’s absolutely adorable! 💜 When Bandit first arrived in his foster home in Idaho, the world of indoor living was completely new to him. Things like furniture, dog beds, toys, and even human affection were unfamiliar. Thanks to a year of patient care and gentle guidance, Bandit has made incredible progress and continues to grow more confident every day. Today, Bandit enjoys playing with his canine friends and has learned how fun a backyard adventure can be! He’s house-trained, loves cozy dog beds and furniture, and is discovering that humans can be kind and trustworthy. He happily takes treats from his foster mom’s hand and has even developed a love for ce from the ice maker — one of his favorite little treats! 🧊 Bandit is still working on some things and will thrive with a patient, understanding adopter who can continue building his confidence. He’s learning about leashes and will need a home with a secure 6-foot privacy-fenced yard where he can safely practice and explore. Because he gains confidence from other dogs, Bandit will do best in a home with a friendly, confident canine companion who can help show him the ropes. An adopter with experience helping shy or undersocialized dogs adjust would be ideal. Bandit has already come so far, and with the right home, he will continue to blossom into a wonderful companion. If you have a calm, loving home and the patience to help a special dog keep growing, Bandit could be your perfect match. 📍 Currently being fostered in Nampa, Idaho

🏠 FOSTER NEEDED: MEET AMBER 🏠 Currently in Boise boarding kennels Meet AMBER, a gorgeous 2-year-old Shepherd mix who is ready to leave the kennel life behind and find her confidence in a loving home! At a perfect 45 pounds, she is a healthy, medium-sized girl with so much potential. AMBER was rescued as a "shut-down" reservation dog. After spending two months in boarding, she is slowly finding her brave side, but she truly needs a quiet, patient foster home to learn how to be a dog without fear. AMBER is calm but timid. She is still learning that the world is a safe place and can be startled by loud noises. She does great on pack walks and is comfortable around other dogs. She handles short car rides like a pro! AMBER loves her biscuits and special treats. She prefers to enjoy her high-value snacks solo and will let other dogs know to give her space while she eats! AMBER is looking for a "safe harbor"—a home where she can finally decompress and blossom at her own pace. AMBER is spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccines. Story
MEET PACO! Sweet, sweet Paco was rescued from the streets of Ensenada, Mexico by a compassionate Canadian couple who could not keep him. He was quite shy at first but warmed up quickly and has blended in super well with the other dogs he has met. He is an affectionate sweetheart and loves nothing more than to snuggle, play and be happy! He's also fully housetrained. Paco is quite mellow but gets super excited when he's getting attention from a favorite human. His love for people and life is so heartwarming and he can't wait to become someone's best friend.Paco is great with other dogs and cats, too, and he weighs about 40 lbs. He is currently in California, but can be transported to Idaho.

Story
WOOF! I'M SPARTA! I'm a sweet and active 2-1/2-year-old Cattle Dog/Aussie/Greyhound mix in need of a forever home! I was rescued from a California shelter along with my sisters, who now have been adopted. So now it's time for me to get noticed! I am a relatively small girl - about 40-45 pounds - and would do well in a and active and quiet home with people who can take me for walks, hikes and other outings. I have done well around other dogs though would do great as an only dog, too. I'm currently in Southern California but can be transported to Idaho. Please email for an application.

These pups are in Boise, Idaho too!

Story
🐾 FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED MEET BANDIT! Location: Boise, ID (Boarding) Profile: ~1.5 years old | 32 lbs | Red Heeler, Kelpie & Shepherd Mix BANDIT is a stunning, medium-sized pup with soulful eyes and a heart of gold. Abandoned on a farm last November, he is more than ready to trade the boarding kennel for a cozy couch. Why you’ll love him: • Polite & Quiet: He walks perfectly on a leash, ignores other dogs, and makes a cute "dolphin squeak" when happy! • Couch Companion: He loves lounging and will even hide his nose in a blanket if the TV is too loud. • Smart & Eager: He’s mastered "sit" and knows the "go potty" command. • Sweet Stuff: He lives for chin scratches and being towel-dried after adventures. The Quirks: BANDIT is a "Yarn Bandit" (he’ll sneak balls of yarn from your craft basket) and has a high prey drive for squirrels. He’s also been known to "counter surf" if snacks are left in reach! Health: Neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. MORE PHOTOS: https://photos.app.goo.gl/E4L2AHSbBfZTGrAH9 Ready to meet this Boise local? Story
I have had Bear since he was about 3 months old. I got him from a friend off of Facebook. He was very scared when I met with the lady I was buying him from and I should have clued into that. I have tried to socialize him since he was a puppy with little success. He has improved a great deal but needs to be with someone that understands reactivity issues towards other dogs as well as resource guarding toys. He is very loving and sweet. He does get along with other dogs he has known since he was a puppy but dogs that we pass on our walks are too much for him. I have spent the last 5 months working with an experienced trainer in the area and have had some success but the reactivity is too much for me. He is very strong and very determined to get to the other dogs. We have to cross the street or turn down a street in order to maintain threshold. I can give you the number of the trainer, he comes to you and is on the cheaper end! Bear walks well on leash and has basic obedience.
