Story
Meet Wiggles Wiggles is a young 2 year old domestic short haired girl that is spayed, FIV/FELV negative, and up to date on vaccinations. This girl was surrendered to Lincoln Shelter back in August of 2024 when the folks that were providing temporary housing for her needed to move. Wiggles was originally found seeking shelter in their garage, where they provided her with food, water, and the basic essentials. Wiggles has never lived in a home, and when she came in she was found riddled with fleas, was underweight, and would urinate out of fear when someone walked in the room. She has shown us a much different side of herself lately after becoming more comfortable with her surroundings. She will need a very patient owner to help her adjust in a home setting. She is very playful and loves munching on her cat treats, and we can occasionally sneak a few pets in when she is eating her morning meal. Thank you for choosing rescue!

Meet Shania! Adoption Fee $325 Please copy and paste the following URL for the adoption application: https://forms.gle/NCYmet7DbsGM6zr36 Our next litter of kittens has 2 girls Meet Mariah & Shania! These two pretty girls caught the attention of one of our volunteers when they were visiting our local shelter. The kittens begged to be rescued and their wish was granted. They’re young kittens, around 10 weeks old. They’re thriving in a foster home loving life. They’re both extremely friendly and would love to be adopted together but not required. However, we only adopt kittens in pairs unless there is another young friendly cat in the home for the new kitten to play with. Having a feline friend can be incredibly beneficial for their social and emotional well-being, providing comfort and support throughout their lives. There is a discount when adopting more than one pet. All pets are microchipped, and the registration fee paid for lifetime. Please copy and paste the following URL for the adoption application: https://forms.gle/NCYmet7DbsGM6zr36 Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Story
Newly single mom who needs to relocate to an apartment that does not allow pets. Meeka is 5 years old and very friendly, cuddly, and has lived with an energetic puppy her whole life and a newborn through 2.5 year old. Never once has this sweet soul scratched, pawed, bitten or swatted at my child. She does swat playfully at the puppy. they are the same size and they play together. Hoping to find her a home. she is very easy to care for and needs very little except a litter box, litter, water, and cat kibble (dry food) but most importantly love! She has been so good to us, we love you Meeka!

Story
We found our kitten in our backyard back in June and we decided to take him in our home. We brought him to the vet and he was given an estimate age of about 10 weeks old (April 12) and he is up to date with his vaccines. He was found with fleas at the time but was treated. He has not yet been spayed and neutered but does have an upcoming appointment in December. Very family friendly kitten. He is good with children and loves kitten soup as a treat (Lil soups brand) he loves treats in general. He's not too fussy about food brands. He's tried multiple, but he does well with Friskies and Meow Mix. Lately he's been wanting to go outside and every chance he gets he does escape for a couple of hours the most but always comes back home and will cry out to let us know he's there. Graceson doesn't play as much as he used to on his own but he enjoys chasing a Lazer light.Overall, he is sweet and enjoys being groomed and cuddled.

Story
MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER We were surrendered to the shelter. People said they found us in the woods. Only we know the true story, but we do not have the gift of words. Shelter staff believe we are related. Kris is 1 to 2 years old, I am 6 to 7 months. We are bonded. This experience has been hard and sad for us. We have each other, which is comforting. We need to be adopted together. Our holiday wish is for a family. A family who will keep us safe and enjoy the start of a New Year with us. For us, a new beginning. We have a special adoption fee. For information about us and/or the adoption process, email ds4paws@hotmail.com or call Rob at the shelter 508 822 1463. An approved adoption application is required to bring us home.

Story
Paco is a nine year old orange tabby who’s been in our family for close to 8 years. He’s an amazing cat and has moved all over the country, loves other pets, and is very sociable. Unfortunately, our new born baby is allergic and we are looking for a loving home for him as he reaches the latter stages of life. His shots are up to date, he’s litter trained, and loves to cuddle. He would make a great addition to any family and we hope to find one for him as that’s what’s he deserves. We’re not asking for any money, just a home that is willing to offer him the greatest love and care for the remainder of his days!

Story
Toast is 9 months old She's the sweetest cat ever and was raised really well. From birth she's been wobbly and drags her back legs but no other complications until she was about 3 months, she started peeing on the floor then shortly after that poop, then lost control of her ability to hold it entirely at around 6/7 months. She wears diaper and a body suit 24/7 now and gets baths often. I work 50 hours a week sometimes more and cant be home enough to change her diaper and clean up after her. Toast is extremely sweet and desensitized to everything. You can touch her anywhere on her body and be rough and she just loves any xxxx@xxxx.x 's good with having her teeth brushed, nails clipped, and has gotten pretty used to baths. Toast is the perfect cat in every single way besides her disability. She's really a gentle soul who needs someone to dedicate a lot of.

Story
My neighbors moved and left their car behind. I took her in and she has been a joy and a love bug. I have three cats of my own and she gets along with the two larger cats, but I have a little gray runt of a cat and Biscuit has tried to attack her, as she thinks the small cat is a rodent or squirrel. My cat has been frightened since we took Biscuit in. Aside from that, Biscuit is a snuggle bug and has been a wonderful companion to my Mother, cuddling all day. We have to be fair to our cats and re-home Biscuit. We are heartbroken but have to do the right thing. Please meet Biscuit and see for yourself how wonderful she is.
