Story
Meet Sir Malcom! Malcom arrived at the shelter feeling very worried about new people, so he went to a foster home with the hope of warming up more easily. Well, it seems to have worked! He is now back and the shelter and ready to meet potential adopters! When you come to meet him, please go slow as sudden noises and movements still make him a little nervous and he may retreat back to his shelf or carrier. He`s quick to come back out, though once he knows he`s safe. He LOVES watching Cat TV on YouTube. One of our staff members brings her phone in for every visit and turns on videos for him to watch. He`s even tried to catch some of the creatures on the screen. He enjoys gentle pets and would likely appreciate a quiet home to spend his senior years. Maybe one where he can watch other creatures from a window or even on your TV! Here`s what his foster parent reported: `Sir Malcolm is an affectionate, gentle, shy, and handsome cat. It took a week in foster care for his personality to start to show, but now he is purring and making biscuits, chasing after toys, and has become quite a talkative cat. He will make some lucky person a fine companion. He is easy to put in a carrier and uses his litter box well. There is another cat in the foster home that Sir Malcom has interacted with and seems to do fine with.`If you would like to meet Sir Malcolm, stop by the shelter during walk in hours (Tue-Sun 12-4:30pm with extended hours 12-6:30 on Thursday).
