Story
Meet Ayden, laid-back sweetheart with an even bigger heart. This very friendly big boy loves people, gets along well with other cats, and shows his affection with gentle head-butts, and snuggling on a warm lap. After losing his human mom, Ayden came to a shelter, but luckily his mom's friend was able to take him in to find a loving home. His beautiful eyes are two different colors—a unique trait that doesn’t affect his sight at all. Ayden would love nothing more than a loving home as he starts his next chapter in life.

Story
Alex and Jason's journey began being abandoned with their mother and siblings. A concerned neighbor contacted a Cnycc volunteer to help. They have been with the caring neighbor as their foster for almost one year. Their mom and siblings have been adopted to wonderful homes, and the two bonded brothers are looking for their forever home. Both boys are shy at first and need time and patience to adjust to new people and places. You can see in the video how they have blossomed into sweet companions with their foster. Jason is a tabby cat and loves chasing his toys and exploring, being pet and jumping on his foster's lap, and is a cuddle bug! Alex is a gentle tabby boy who is also shy at first with new people. Alex likes getting scratches on his head and face and enjoys hunting toys! Alex and Jason will brighten up any home, and look forward to meeting their loving forever family. They do best in a home with older children and no dogs. With tender loving care, these adorable boys will become your new best friends. We hope this is you. 💕 Adoption fee of $160 each contributes to neuter, shots. testing, worming and flea treatment and lifetime microchip.

Story
Duck is a big tough-skinned Tomcat that was found stray nearby the A&W restaurant in Cortlandville. He seems to have had a few scraps with other cats while roaming outside and this likely is where he contracted FIV. FIV is an immunodeficiency disease that makes it difficult for a cat to fend off illness on their own. Though this means FIV cats need to be adopted with certain considerations in mind, they still can live long, healthy lives, and more often than not do. (please see infographic on his kennel card) Duck seemed at first to be timid for such a big strong boy and may need some time in a new home to learn to trust. Now that he has gained trust with our staff he has shown himself to be an outgoing, vocal and loving boy who really enjoys being held! His condition requires him to be adopted as an indoor only cat, despite his familiarity with the outdoors.

Story
Darius was brought to us by his owner's brother after they had passed away. He is a quiet and reserved senior cat, at least 10 years old, though likely even older. He seems to be mostly blind in his right eye, but still has vision in his left. He's missing quite a few teeth and has seen better days, but is still very gentle and calm. Darius is quite timid and spends most of his time cuddled up in a place he feels safe. Over time he has shown the shelter workers that it is NOT humans he is timid of and really enjoys getting any kind of physical affection! He is still somewhat stressed and confused about life at the shelter and could use someone to spend lots of 1 on 1 time with him in his new home so he can learn that he is safe and secure.

Story
Smoke is a large and in charge 8 year old male who initially may appear shy, but is actually quite outgoing and friendly when approached. He came to the shelter with his brother Harley when their previous owner could no longer care for them. While not necessary, it may be very beneficial to Harley to also be adopted alongside Smoke as he may be able to help him out of his shell. Smoke would love to come home with anyone looking for a laid-back and extra friendly guy.
