Meet Eleanor, a stunning 10-year-old tabby with a gentle heart and a longing for a quiet, loving home. Her journey hasn’t been easy—after her male owner passed away and her female owner moved into assisted living, Eleanor and six other cats found themselves at the shelter. The sudden loss of her family left Eleanor feeling shut down and heartbroken, but her resilient spirit touched everyone who met her. Now thriving in her foster home, Eleanor has begun to show her true, sweet personality. She enjoys exploring her surroundings, crafting perfect biscuits with her paws, and curling up in her tower for peaceful naps. Eleanor is wonderfully expressive—she’ll greet you with meows when she sees you or when she’s ready for her next delicious meal. Her affectionate nature makes her a delight to have around, especially for someone who spends a lot of time at home, as she thrives on companionship and your presence. While Eleanor previously lived with other cats, she’s made it clear she prefers to be the queen of her castle and would do best as your only pet. She tolerates the dogs in her foster home but would be happiest in a home where all the attention is hers to soak up. Eleanor is ready to leave her past behind and start a new chapter filled with love and comfort. May the force be with you! Meet Leia, a four-month-old tabby with a soft, beautifully striped coat and a loving spirit. She and her brother, Luke, were born to a stray mama cat who had several litters before a kind-hearted Good Samaritan stepped in to help. The idea to just leave them outside and make them barn cats was considered, but thankfully, they decided to surrender Leia and Luke over to us to ensure they found loving homes. While Luke was just adopted, Leia is now ready to start her next chapter! The more reserved of the two siblings, Leia is a shy but incredibly affectionate kitten. She loves to be petted and held, finding comfort in the gentle touch of a caring hand. Once she feels safe, her sweet personality truly shines. Like any young cat, Leia delights in playtime—chasing toys and exploring new surroundings bring out her kitten energy and curiosity. Leia is friendly with everyone she meets and gets along well with other cats. Kitties help bring her comfort and build her confidence so she MUST be adopted to a home with another cat. She’s still warming up to the dogs in her foster home, so she would do best in a calm environment where she can take her time getting used to canine companions. Each cuter than the next and so teeny tiny These babies were all fostered in a wonderful home after they were abandoned in NYC and KY at a high kill shelters and then cared for by our incredible NY and KY foster teams! They are all friendly and fun and great for any family - they seem fine with kids and should be fine with other gentle cats and with a gentle dog. They are incredibly affectionate, super snuggly, and simply the most purrfect kitties! Again some of these babies are TOO SMALL to go solo so u must have another young cat in the home or adopt in pairs. This week's older kittens and young adults are going to wow u not just with their beauty - but will also wow u with their amazing personalities. Let's talk about all of them individually: Sarabi, Zira, Kiara, Nala (6m) and their 9m half bros Pumba Simba and Timon - this hot mess of a crew came from one home that obviously overloaded on cats and did not fix everyone... Luckily they finally decided to give up the kittens (now older) who had bad flea allergies from lack of care and we quickly treated and got them back to healthy diets and habits - now they are ready and OMG LOVERS each and every one - they still look like hot messes but that will improve once in a happy home! each sweeter than the next Sylvester - 3yr old Maine Coon Siberian med-long haired floof AND 3m old Kilo housemate Siamese Van mix - these handsome boys were in the same home and came from tons of love - both gorgeous and super sweet cuddlers! Sylvester takes slightly longer to decompress in a new home so prob better in a quieter setting, while Kilo is a cat dog and ready for action! Cleo - 8m old spectacular Torbico (Torbie and Calico blend) - this cuddle bug is a foster fav and can go solo or be in a busy home with other pets - sooooo soft and gentle and so fun - best cat dog ever and SOOO gorgeous Please make sure to READ our ADOPTION GUIDELINES.
