Story
Tabitha is a beautiful young and very energetic girl with a cute pink spot on the tip of her nose. She is very gentile with people and craves attention. She enjoys having lots of pets and happily lets you rub her tummy and play with her paws. She will “coo” when she is curious and will let you know when she wants attention, which is often. Tabitha loves to play with cat toys and will chase a laser for hours. She had a minor eye injury when she was young but can see fine and just needs it to be wiped with warm water from time to time. She was born in May 2024. She has been spayed & is up to date on her vaccinations. This animal is being fostered in the South but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, (www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

Story
Meet Cosmo – At night, he’s the perfect snuggle buddy, curling up beside you and sleeping soundly until morning. During the day, he’s playful and energetic—always ready for a game of chase with his favorite toys. Be prepared for a little shadow who keeps life interesting! Although Cosmo is an indoor cat, he does get curious about the outdoors from time to time. Regular playtime helps satisfy his need for stimulation and keeps that curiosity in check. I’ll provide all of his essentials: an automatic litter box, automatic feeder, cat tree, carrier, and bed. He’s an affectionate, playful companion who just needs a loving temporary home while I transition to a new place

Story
Fraulein has been a lovely companion to me. I will miss her very much. She is two years old and I am unable to get her spayed, and she needs to be spayed. She is extremely personable and will greet you in the morning and when you come home. She has special meows for when she needs some food or some attention. We will often touch nose to nose. In the morning, she likes her head rubbed. She will follow you wherever you go and want to hang out with you. She has a very gentle spirit. Anything I have for her can go to the next owner. I am hoping that the next owner appreciates her as much as I have. Companion is the word for her. She really is a special cat. I have also heard, from my vet , that it is rare to see tabby cats that are female.

Story
What's that rumble? Oh, it's Bumble! This playful boy loves to chase his ball around and be a wild cat. A rough and rowdy player, Bumble would do well with the company of another young and playful cat (for him to stalk and surprise!) or oppositely, an old, relaxed cat who won't mind his antics. Two years old and full of beans, he can't be picked up, needs his own space and will tell you, "No thank you" but far less politely. However, if you want to drag a string or feather around or throw his ball than he'll happily spend all day with you. Bumble is neutered and current on all shots, ready for his new home. If you've got room in your heart for an energetic wild-man who plays by his own rules and requires you follow them too, then take a chance on Bumble and make your appointment to meet him today. He is not the biggest fan of other cats, and does not like dogs, but he loves the attention he gets from people. Bumble is a 2-year-old neutered male For more information on Bumble, call AWS at 860-354-1350 email animalwelfare.socty@snet.net or visit our website aws-shelter.org for an application Adoption Fees for Senior cats (8yrs and up) is $50 Adult Cats $200 and Kittens under a year $250.
