Story
We’ve had Ike since he was about 3 months old. My husband surprised me for my birthday and we headed to the shelter to pick him out! I was so happy to get him which is why this is a very difficult decision for me to make. He is a really GOOD cat, and loves to snuggle. He is good with kids (really just avoids them) we have a 1 year old and a 6 year old and he’s never harmed either of them. We had a dog (Australian Shepherd) for this first 9 years of Ike’s life. He hasn’t been around a dog since, but I believe he could adjust. The behavioral issues we are having is going outside of the litter box if he gets upset. Things that upset him are us leaving him while on vacation, dirty litter box, new furniture items such as rugs, or foreign animal smells.
