Story
We found Mercy one night when she randomly showed up at my friend's apartment last year. Mercy is the sweetest cat with people, she will run up to you when you get home and talk to you. She would be perfect as your only pet. She is low maintenance, independent, and loves treats. I have a cat sling and she will stay in there for hours.

Story
Hello, my name is Jewel. I am a sweet tabby cat here at the Ark Animal Shelter. I came to the shelter in August 2024 with my four little kittens. I took good care of them and they were all adopted. Since then I have been spayed and received all my shots and am micro-chipped. The vet thinks I am about a year and a half old. I love people and am a friendly lap cat that loves to play with the volunteers and visitors at the shelter. I’m hoping someone will notice me among all the other cats and take me to a safe and cozy home where I can be a member of the family. If you come to the Ark and are looking for a new and loyal friend, ask to see Jewel. I will be very happy to see you.

Story
Jerry is a very outgoing and curious cat that just wants to be part of the people's world and get attention. Ben is more reserved but once he warms up to you he just becomes a big 'ole snuggle bug. They are both 5 years old and like to keep each other company. They were found and rescued almost 4 years ago and immediately neutered and chipped. Their owner has recently passed away so I am just trying to help find them a nice new loving home. They have no major medical issues and have had yearly exams. I'm looking for an owner that is already established with a vet's office and able to maintain routine care.

Story
Lola was found behind a garbage can on my parents property as a feral kitten and was raised as an indoor/outdoor cat. She is 5 years old now. She is so sweet and cuddly, loves attention and is very food motivated when it comes to training. She is a lover and really appreciates one on one time with her human. She is great with the other cats and dogs we have rescued, but we believe her being the only female cat in the home has been causing her a lot of stress. We are hoping to rehome her to someone who can provide a less stressful environment. A previous injury a year or so ago on her abdomen caused some weight gain during the recovery, and she continues to be a large size. However, she has no dietary requirements and there are no current concerns regarding her size.
