He’s a friendly fellow who enjoys being with his people. He is cautious around new dogs, so he would need a slow introduction if there are other dogs in the home When Fozzie Howie was rescued, he was in pretty rough shape and desperately needed a good grooming (be sure to check out his video). Luckily, he has since enjoyed a much-deserved spa day, and underneath all that fur was one very handsome—and very happy—fella. Now that he’s cleaned up and feeling like his fabulous self again, Fozzie Howie is ready to focus on what really matters: finding a forever home and family who will love him, keep him looking sharp, and give him the safe, happy life he deserves. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
