K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. Story
Cal-Poodle male, ~ 1-2 yr. (Dec. 2025) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application. Cal came to Rescue when his prior owner called for help. They are traveling a lot for work and just felt it was in Cal's best interest to have a home where he wouldn't be alone so much. He's a beauty, with a friendly disposition and a lot of love to give. Cal is about 65-70# and is probably fully grown. Poodles can be very good family dogs due to their intelligence, affectionate nature, and loyalty. Cal is used to living in a family setting with adults. Poodles are highly trainable and generally get along well with children and other pets when properly socialized. He has lived with other dogs, with no problems, although will enjoy getting to see more of the world with a new family. He requires a fair amount of mental and physical exercise, consistent grooming, and will thrive when he is included in family life rather than being left alone for long periods. Cal's adoption fee is $600 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. For our application, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com Include your location and a phone number for future communication.

Cooper-Sheepadoodle-Male puppy, ~ 3 mo. (Dec. 2025) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application Cooper came to rescue when his prior owner fell on hard times and could not take care of him. He's a super sweet, loving puppy who is a friend to all and happy to climb on your lap for a snuggle. He is used to living with other dogs and is working on house and crate training. Here is what people are saying about this hybred dog: Sheepadoodles are bred to bring the best traits out of both breeds by selecting dams (mamas) and sires (daddies) with the best qualities from each breed. They inherit intelligence and easy trainability from both sides. They are often graced to inherit the kindness and mellow temperament from the OES. They also are bred to carry the minimal shedding and low allergy-triggering coat from the Poodle. Sheepadoodles are friendly, loving, kind, and love to play. Cooper's adoption fee is $600 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. For our application, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com Pleases include your location and a phone number.

Story
Mistletoe is a little sweetheart and she has tons of personality! Her mom is a small B&W rat terrier mix and dad is a doodle. Mom was taken in as a stray by a lady with an unaltered doodle. Before she could find a rescue to help with mom, she became pregnant. Mistletoe, th runt in the litter, is friendly, loving and smart! She is great with other dogs and people of all ages. She has not been around a cat yet but we are confident she will be fine with proper intro. Being the runt, she always seems to end up on the bottom and she still plays hard and never gets mad! Mistletoe is healthy, UTD on puppy shots and worming. She will be spayed and microchipped before going to her forever home. Based on puppy weight calculators we think she will be between 25 and 35 lbs. If you would like to add this sweetheart to your family, please email omlc7@hotmail.com or dogs4mylife@gmail.com. If you do not see a response, please check your spam folder.
