Story
Meet Stryker! Age: Senior Breed: Rottweiler Weight: 90 lbs Good with: Dogs House trained: Yes Crate trained: No, but not needed Stryker is THE BEST big boy (90lbs) ever! This gorgeous senior Rottweiler has no health issues other than some normal aging stuff (vision/hips) and was a loved pet for many years. Sadly, his human parents had to go into longterm care so he lost his home and fur companions. While he has not lived with kids in his foster home, he loves his people and it is believed he would do just fine with kids. This pup is truly a “dog’s dog” (has not been cat tested) and would benefit from a home with at least one other dog. He currently lives with multiple dogs of various sizes/energy levels and he enjoys them all. Stryker is a chill pup with lots of pep in his step. He loves taking walks and enjoying time roaming the yard in his foster home or lounging on the porch. A fenced in yard is not a requirement but he does enjoy exploring. He also has great house manners, being both housebroken and being able to be left free roam when his foster is out. Stryker is not a barker but makes noises when he wants your attention and is a smart pup who knows basic commands. Stryker loves affection and is a fan of mealtime/treats. Stryker would make a wonderful addition to a family - he just wants to find a safe place to call home for his sunset years. Does he sound like a good fit for you? **Stryker is located in the Chicago suburbs and also spends time in Delavan, WI Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Story
Introducing Tutti, the lovable Boxer mix with a heart full of affection and a zest for life! Hi, I'm Tutti, a spirited and affectionate Boxer mix ready to bring joy to your life! With my charming personality and playful nature, I'm the perfect companion for anyone seeking a loyal and loving pet. I absolutely adore my humans and thrive on cuddles and quality time together. Whether we're snuggled up on the couch or enjoying a leisurely walk in the park, I'll be right by your side, wagging my tail with excitement. I find great pleasure in the company of my loved ones and will shower you with endless affection and loyalty. One of my favorite pastimes is chasing balls and toys. Throw one my way, and I'll happily engage in an enthusiastic game of fetch. I'm always up for outdoor adventures, so count me in for long walks, hikes, or exploring new places. The fresh air and open spaces truly bring out the best in me! Having a four-legged friend unfortunately isn't going to be in the cards for me. I'll do best in a home where I am the only pet. I take pride in my impeccable house manners. I am housebroken and have mastered the art of kennel training, though I must admit that I have a soft spot for the couch or your cozy bed. After a day full of activities, nothing makes me happier than curling up beside you for a well-deserved snuggle session. If you're looking for an affectionate, fun-loving, and loyal companion, look no further than me, Tutti! Together, we'll create cherished memories and embark on countless adventures. I'm ready to become an integral part of your loving home and bring an abundance of joy and companionship into your life. So, what are you waiting for? Let's start our incredible journey together! **Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states. Adoption fee is $350 unless otherwise noted above. Puppies under 1 year of age accept application for families with children over 6 years of age for large breeds and over 8 years of age for small breeds. Since they are still puppies, dogs under 1 will require a basic obedience and puppy training class, and spay/neuter at the owners expense. Story
Hey, I`m Gia. My friends describe me as super sweet and cuddly. I can be nervous with new places and people. Once I do get comfortable I love butt scratches and tug-o-war. I feel safest in my crate when home alone. Rowdy dogs may be a bit much for me due to my shyness. If you think I could be the cuddle bug for you, you can give me a visit at the shelter! Medical History: I appear to be a healthy Adult, but it`s always a good idea to set up an appointment with my new vet soon, so that we can meet and make plans to keep me happy and healthy!Weight: 41 lbAdoption Fee: $ 375 + taxIf you`d like to meet me, click the `Learn About the Adoption Process` button below to plan a visit to the shelter!
