Story
1.5 years old (estimated) Spayed female 67 lbs. No known experience with cats, dogs, or children More information coming soon! The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.December 19, 2024, 3:13 pm

Hello! I`m a big goofy guy who is extremely food-motivated. I would prefer a home with no cats, and no small kids as I can be quite the lap dog at a whopping 80lbs! I`ve had good dog interactions but would need proper testing with any pup you may have! My preferred home is someone with working breed experience as I live up to the rottweiler breed standard. Meet Lenny! Lenny is a goofy boy who loves his people and loves a good game of fetch. Lenny lives up to his Rottweiler tendencies so he would do best with a home that has done research on the breed. Lenny knows ‘sit’ and ‘down’. Lenny does have some quirks which can be discussed with potential adopters. Lenny’s preferred home would be with kids older than 13+ and can respect his boundaries. Lenny is still awaiting a foster or forever home, so his housetrained skills are unknown. Story
Meet Stryker! Age: Senior Breed: Rottweiler Weight: 90 lbs Good with: Dogs House trained: Yes Crate trained: No, but not needed Stryker is THE BEST big boy (90lbs) ever! This gorgeous senior Rottweiler has no health issues other than some normal aging stuff (vision/hips) and was a loved pet for many years. Sadly, his human parents had to go into longterm care so he lost his home and fur companions. While he has not lived with kids in his foster home, he loves his people and it is believed he would do just fine with kids. This pup is truly a “dog’s dog” (has not been cat tested) and would benefit from a home with at least one other dog. He currently lives with multiple dogs of various sizes/energy levels and he enjoys them all. Stryker is a chill pup with lots of pep in his step. He loves taking walks and enjoying time roaming the yard in his foster home or lounging on the porch. A fenced in yard is not a requirement but he does enjoy exploring. He also has great house manners, being both housebroken and being able to be left free roam when his foster is out. Stryker is not a barker but makes noises when he wants your attention and is a smart pup who knows basic commands. Stryker loves affection and is a fan of mealtime/treats. Stryker would make a wonderful addition to a family - he just wants to find a safe place to call home for his sunset years. Does he sound like a good fit for you? **Stryker is located in the Chicago suburbs and also spends time in Delavan, WI Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and then a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $300, ($550 for a pair). Of Agriculture License Number: 474085-DS NOTE ABOUT AGING A DOG: Aging a dog, based on looking at them, is unreliable and usually inaccurate. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality and their needs. Adoptable 💙Peaches💙 is looking for her forever home! 🥰 Peaches was found as a stray in Georgia and soon found herself at the local animal shelter. She just made the trip up to Wisconsin on 10/26 and is doing really well in her foster home! 🐾 She is a silly, playful pup who loves other dogs and her people. She gets along with all the dogs she has met and does a good job matching energy to older dogs or younger puppies. She enjoys running around the yard, playing with toys, and going for walks with her foster family. She did great trick-or-treating with her foster family and was amazing with all the kids and commotion. She also gets along with cats. She is crate trained, working on potty training, good on the leash, and working on off-leash recall. She is not reactive over toys, treats, food, etc. She is an overall good girly who would be great for someone looking for a medium energy dog! She is also quite petite for a terrier mix and is only around 30 lbs at 7 months old. If you are interested in adopting, please check out our website and fill out an application: www.muttlife.org

3 month female Hi, I’m Raven! I’m a sweet little puppy with a beautiful brindle coat and lots of love to give. I was found as a stray, so I don’t really know much about my past, but I’m excited to start a new chapter with a family of my own. Even though I’m still a puppy, I’m already learning so much every day. I love to play, explore, and cuddle—basically, I’m up for anything that involves fun and attention! I’m still figuring out the world around me, but I’m a quick learner and eager to please. If you’re looking for a playful, loving puppy to add to your family, I might be the perfect match! With a little patience and plenty of belly rubs, I’ll grow up to be the best companion ever. Let’s make some memories together—are you ready to take me home? -------------------- She is currently in a high-kill shelter in Georgia and urgently needs our help! She needs an ADOPTER or a temporary FOSTER home so she can catch a ride with Mutt Life Dog Rescue of Wisconsin on Saturday, January 11th, 2025 to Cedarburg, Wisconsin. If nobody steps up for her, she will be left behind in the shelter, and we don't want her to miss this important chance for a better life.
