Story
Updated: 08NOV24 **Meet Cleo** Breed: Rottweiler / Australian Kelpie Mix Age: 2.5 years (still young enough to believe she can outrun a squirrel) Gender: Female Weight: 60 lbs (of pure cuddly mischief) **Background** Cleo was rescued from Memphis Animal Services after a dramatic career as a stunt dog-she took a leap of faith that landed her in a bit of trouble! After a successful FHO surgery (her "get out of jail free card), she's ready to charm her way into your heart. **Temperament** Cleo is a sweet girl who can be a little shy at first. Think of her as the introverted party guest who eventually steals the spotlight with her adorable antics. She's friends with everyone-people, dogs, and even the farm animals! If they had a talent show, she'd definitely be the star. **Socialization** Currently living in a foster home with multiple dogs, Cleo thrives in a social environment. Couch cuddling is her Olympic sport, especially when competing for the best spot next to her foster mom or snuggling up to her doggy siblings. Her secret weapon? Kongs filled with peanut butter-because who can resist that? **Training** Cleo is house and crate trained, so no messy surprises! She walks well on a leash, although she might occasionally stop to ponder the meaning of life when she sees a particularly interesting blade of grass. After attending training at The Champion Farm in July of 2023, she received a 5-star rating, proving that she's not just a pretty face! **Health** Cleo is up to date with her vaccinations and is spayed, which means she's ready to roll into her next adventure without any interruptions. **Favorite Activities** Cleo loves to play, nap, and plot her next peanut butter heist. If you need a partner in crime for snack time, she's your girl! **Notes** Cleo is a loving and playful companion looking for her forever home. If you have a soft spot for sweet shenanigans and a knack for peanut butter-filled Kongs, she's ready to steal your heart (and some snacks)! With her charming personality and gentle nature, she's sure to bring laughter and love to any family.

Story
Mister was abandoned and left to roam out in the country. He is shy at first meet, but once he trusts you, his personality will make you melt! He’s silly and playful— he will constantly make you laugh! He loves going for walks, and could use some more exercise and a better diet than he does now! The only thing he loves more than his food is his bed and blanket! He loves to be warm and cozy. Mister needs a home that will be patient with him as he builds his confidence!

Our fosters and adoption coordinators are the backbone of what we do. Our fosters work tirelessly to integrate our rescue animals into their home, so that we can provide as much information to potential adopters as possible. In addition, our coordinators offer as much information regarding the medical and behavioral and personality characteristics as is known to our organization. Without them, and our extremely generous donors, we would not be able to save as many animals as we do every day. With each adoption, we operate a Pay It Forward program, whenever possible, to help other animals in our rescue and future animals in need. If you are interested in one of our animals, please complete an application. The application link can be found on our Petfinder homepage under the picture. You may also find our application on our website at www.petmatchmakerrescue.com under the Adopt page. If they are listed on our website, their adoptions have not been finalized yet. That does not mean that we have not received several applications, already. Please complete an application if you are interested and we will keep you apprised of their current status. We are all volunteers that work full-time jobs, so please be patient with us. We will get back with you as quickly as possible. If you are interested in fostering for our organization, please complete an application. The application link can be found on our Petfinder homepage under the picture.
