Meet Chili Dog! This sweet girl will steal your heart! After a rough start in life, Chili is healing and thriving! Chili is full of kisses, cuddles, and tail wags! She loves people, going on walks, running around outside, and car rides. Chili is great in the car! Even though she loves to be active, Chili is also content to lounge around inside. When her foster parents work from home, she's happy to lay on her dog bed near by their desk. Chili is getting better on the leash and responds to commands such as: sit, stay, and come. She is "treat motivated and seems to get with responding to commands daily. Chili is wonderfully fully potty-trained. Her foster parents are happy to report she's never once had an accident. Chili is also crate trained. She responds quickly when told to go in the crate, although she would rather just lounge on the bed. Chili does well with other dogs she has met. She loves to play and would likely do well with another active companion dog but she would also do well as an only dog. We do not know if Chili has been around kids, although when walked past a playground, she excitedly watches the children and wags her tail. We got our dog as a puppy and have had him for 10 years. He has been a good family dog but we are unable to care for his needs as he ages with our growing family. He is higher maintenance than we are able to handle at this point. He is protective by nature and requires introduction to new people. Once he can sniff newcomers with them ignoring him, he relaxes and won’t bark. I would love if he could finish out the rest of his life with an owner that understands dogs and can care for him well.

Weiler is a very good dog. He's smart. Very well behaved and somewhat trained, listens well. Loves to play fetch can do so for hours. Loves his ball. Doesn't bark unless he needs to. Loves outside so he will need a fenced in yard.

We know very little about this dog other than the observations we have made while it has been in our possession. She came out of a hoarding situation And had been kept in a crate. She has not been around children nor has she been in the house so I am unable to answer those queries. She barks As you approach the kennel, then as soon as you enter, she is on her back, begging for a belly rub and it’s very affectionate. This dog is located in Parsons Tennessee. Should she be adopted in Tennessee We will provide transportation. If she is adopted out of state transportation will be the responsibility of the adopter. The Adopter will also have to complete the wags and whiskers adoption form. If you have further questions, contact Kristen at 615-957-1761.
