Story
Bradley is a 1 to 2 yr old neutered male Rottie or Rottie mix. He weighs 66lbs. We pulled him from our local shelter when his owner failed to reclaim him. He is a great guy who has so much love to give his forever family. He is a strong boy but tries to behave on a leash. He did great for the vet and made several friends at the clinic. He does know a few commands and will happily learn more for just a little treat. He played with a few dogs in the play yard and did well . He can be a bit rough for small dogs. He appears to be house trained and happily went into a crate when asked. He is fine with other dogs and older children. He might be to much for real little children. We haven't cat tested him. He is up to date on shots and wormed. He is already neutered. The adoption fee is $400. If interested in meeting this cutie, please email heritagefarms08@gmail.com or call the foster at 419-779-0862. He is being fostered in Ottawa Lake Michigan. When emailing please include information about you and your family including other pets. current vet information is also appreciated.

Story
Sweet and playful girl. She was said to be thrown out of a moving vehicle up in Detroit, rescued by a utility worker and taken to the shelter. Despite her rough start to life, she shows nothing but love and joy. We are requiring a home with at least 1 adult dog to help guide her and teach her how to be a well-rounded dog as she grows, she missed out on vital weeks with her mom and littermates due to being dumped. We understand this may be upsetting but it is what's best for Freyja. She is currently fostered with young children she adores but will need puppy training as she grows!

Story
Hi there! My name is Pollo, and I'm an exceptionally intelligent boy who's been waiting for my forever home at FMAR for over five years. When I first arrived as a stray, I was in rough shape, but I've come a long way since then. Now, I'm ready to show someone just how wonderful I can be!Many people thought I was predominantly Pit Bull Terrier, but thanks to a DNA test done by a volunteer, I found out my true heritage! I'm made up of:* 52% Rottweiler* 27% American Pit Bull Terrier* 16% American Staffordshire Terrier* 3% American BulldogYou can really see my Rottweiler coloring shine in the sunlight!I have big dreams of becoming an agility dog! The volunteers here set up obstacle courses, and I absolutely love showing off my jumping skills. When I'm not being active, I enjoy relaxing in the yard and soaking up the sun. I might be a bit shy when meeting new people, but give me a few treats, and I'll be your best friend in no time!I would thrive best with an experienced owner who understands my behavioral challenges. Nowadays, I'm fairly laid back and love spending time with the volunteers. Once I get to know someone, I quickly settle down and just crave a little love and affection. A few short walks or some time in a fenced backyard is all the exercise I need, and I enjoy mental stimulation through games and obedience commands. If you're looking for a loyal companion who is eager to learn and love, come meet me, Pollo! I can't wait to show you just how special I am.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------If you would like to meet me, please submit an application for me on our website https://www.friendsofmichigan.org/adoptable-dogs. I am neutered, up to date on all age appropriate vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. My adoption fee is $250, which covers part of the medical care I have received.*Each dog is different, so each adoption is different. The adoption process may require multiple visits to the shelter before a dog can go home with you. Or they may be ready on the first visit. It depends on the individual dog and the potential adopters. One we receive your application, the Dog Staff will contact you to discuss meeting our dogs.

Story
Meet Reese, the happiest Rottweiler mix you'll ever come across! Recently found as a stray, this sweet girl arrived at FDHS with a nose full of scabs and a body that told us she’s been a momma more than once. But those days are behind her, and now it’s time for Reese to find her own happily ever after. We may not know much about her past, but Reese sure doesn’t let it hold her back. She’s the kind of dog that makes friends with everyone she meets, always greeting people with a wagging tail and the biggest smile on her face. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will light up your life, Reese is ready to make your home her forever!
