Meet Esther Price! This petite 50 ish lb girl looks like a small Rottweiler / mutt mix! She is sweet, snuggly and loves every person. She is great with dogs & cats & is good on a leash! Looking for an easy companion??? Apply to adopt Esther Price ( “Essie”) today! She’s just as sweet as her name! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. Penny was gifted to our daughter and her boyfriend. They; however, were not looking to bring a dog into their home. Since we had been discussing getting a dog, we offered to take her in for them. Penny is super loving, and a little too loving at times. She doesn’t understand her size and can be overwhelming, but truly means no harm. Penny has gone through formal “boot camp” training for three weeks and knows basic commands pretty well. Although she is excited to see you, those kind get tossed to the side! She loves to play ball and will fetch until she gets too tired, then it’s up to you to get the ball. Although we don’t have other animals around her, when she was at training she interested with other dogs. Penny has not shown any aggressive behavior towards animals or people, even when taking a toy from her. She will watch out the kitchen window and if she sees an unknown person in our yard, she will bark at them. I am truly grateful for that behavior! Penny is crate trained and barks when she needs to go outside to potty, She loves to jump on you and we continue to work with her on this. This is the only thing that prevents us from wanting to keep Penny. My mother is battling pancreatic cancer and currently lives with us. They love each other but we can’t risk Penny jumping up on her at this point. Just like the classic debate- Left Twix versus Right Twix... both sides together ARE THE BEST!!! I am the same way, I am sweet on one side and salty on the other- together we are perfect! I have a tale to tell, however, none of it matters anymore because I am here right now to tell you- the best is yet to come! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Prince. This handsome boy was shot and left for dead in a dumpster. Somehow this brave boy managed to crawl out. When he was found he had curled up on a couch, gave up, waiting for death. A volunteer was contacted and we rushed him to the vet. He was shot in the eye, the bullet grazed his brain and lodged in his chest. He came in with a severe infection in both the eye. After a week in the ICU, a plasma transfusion and eye removal he is ready for a new home. Prince is great on a leash, absolutely loves people and is very friendly. Playing in the water is a favorite hobby of his. However he is cat reactive and needs to be in a cat-free home. He constantly wants to be with his people. He will need a privacy or 6 foot fence where he can run safely. Prince was born around 11/2021 and he weighs 50 pounds. HIs adoption fee is $300. You can apply for Prince at www.adoggie4you.org. This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225 . I am rehoming Sadie for a friend of mine who just wasn’t able to keep up with her needs. She has been kept up in a bedroom for majority of her life and was severely malnourished when I discovered her. She longs for company and to be able to freely run outside, so a fenced in backyard is preferred. She is the sweetest dog ever and will try her hardest to not let you down. She just wants affection. She has the best “SIT” I’ve ever seen and I wish I could take her myself but I already have 2 dogs and am relocating soon. Because Sadie was underfed for so long, her stomach is sensitive and has to go quite often. But she will always let you know she has to go, and is very sad and ashamed when she can’t hold it. Which isn’t her fault, but she has been treated as so. I’m not sure if her exact age and breed, but am sure she is a loving and sweet girl with a hysterical personality that deserves lots of space and attention
