Story
SMOOCHIE A dog that lives up to his name. With a heart of gold and a smooch that will knock your socks off this sweet soul needs to find his happy place. Smoochie, an older Rottweiler that suffers from dry eyes and is partially blind does not deserve to spend another second here at the shelter. At this time we are opening Smoochie up for adoption but ask that when completing the application potential adopters include a vet reference as Smoochie will need treatment for his eyes daily. This includes putting one to two types of cream/lubricant in his eyes. Smoochie has done well with other dogs, the office cat, and the people he meets. He gets around very well for being partially blind and is very treat motivated. Smoochie is super cool with chilling or going on a walk. He is also super cool with popping a squat right on your lap. We estimate Smoochie to be anywhere from 7-8 years old. He is a super loyal boy and is always eager to please. If you`re interested in adopting Smoochie and helping him live his best life apply online or in person at the Holmes County Dog Warden`s Department and Adoption Center.
