Story
Lyla is a gorgeous dog! We would guess she is some combination of shepherd and Rottweiler but without a DNA test we will never know. She is a smart dog and knows “sit”, “shake”, and “lay down”. She is still pretty nervous being here and we are patiently waiting for her real personality to come out. She was found running loose and no owner came forward for her, so she is looking for a wonderful new home!

Story
Beautiful Charlie is a 2 year old female Rottweiler/Retriever mix, but she’s actually pretty tiny for that combination and fits in our small dog kennels. Charlie is looking for a home without children. She is generally a little anxious, and the constant energy of kids is too much for her. Charlie likes other dogs, and we were told she doesn’t like cats, but can always test her again! We were told Charlie is housebroken, and we are confident that she will make an excellent companion!More information? Call Marion Area Humane Society at 740-389-6548 or email at manager@mahspets.org

Story
Hi! My name is Dozer and I’m a playful, goofy, sweet and loving boy. I’m 3 years old and a Rottweiler - Bully mix. I currently weigh 90 lbs. I like to think I have the cutest, squishiest face. I love all things… especially sleeping, toys, and my blankie. When I say love, sometimes I love a little too hard especially for my people. I am known to be protective with those I love and my space. I like to play rough, some might say a bit too rough, however I have never bit or hurt anyone. I’d like to think I never would. I haven’t had a lot of consistency in my short life to teach me boundaries. I’m willing to learn! I’m looking for a new home, particularly one where I am the only dog and there are no kids (for now). I’m not quite sure how I feel about those little humans yet. I promise I’d make a great companion. I love to snuggle and pretend I’m a lap dog. I promise to make you feel safe and loved, as long as you do the same for me!

Story
7-month-old bundle of joy. My heart is as big as I'm going to be, which is quite big! I'm super sweet & loving. I'm smart too, quick to learn new tricks. I'm still learning about house breaking and manners, so I need a patient teacher, but I promise to be the best student. I get along great with other dogs too. I love cuddling and always happy. I'm looking for a forever home where I can share all my puppy love. Adopt me and you will have a best friend for life! I came in with Gia and Chip but we do not have to be adopted together, I just want a loving home. We aren’t sure how I am with cats. I’ve lived with kids and we had a good time. Please come fall in love with me at the Morrow County Dog Shelter, Mt. Gilead, OH or call 419-946-1747 for more info on me. Please share me if I’m not a perfect match for your family.March 4, 2025, 1:23 pm
