Story
Jorah is a fun high energy dog. He loves to play and is incredibly smart. Loves to swim and play fetch with a ball or frisbee. He is trained and understands numerous commands like sit, down, wait, leave it, bring it to me, on, off, come, (even poops and pees on command) etc. Jorah is obedience and crate trained but also loves to lounge on his bed. He is the perfect dog for individuals who live an active lifestyle or ones without young children. He is good with other dogs. He likes to play rough and wrestle. He does have a little sensitive stomach so we do not give him table food. He is a perfect outdoor dog. We are only considering rehoming because he is rambunctious and can’t dedicate the same play time/attention with a new baby. We feel guilty and he deserves so much more

Hi, I'm Ash. I've been through a lot, and I'm still searching for my happy ending. When I first came to FDHS, I was in rough shape. I was a stray with a painful hip injury and was pretty freaked out. The kind people at FDHS took care of me, fixed my hip, and showed me lots of love. I got adopted once and for a little while, I though I'd found my forever. But it turns out it wasn't the right fit. I don't really do well with being left alone for long periods. It makes me feel scared and unsure- I need someone I know I can count on to come back for me. I prefer a quieter lifestyle and would love nothing more than a steady home where I can feel safe and loved. I'll be honest- I'm a little stubborn sometimes, but I'm also a really big softie who loves really hard. I'll be your shadow, your protector, and your biggest fan. I get along fine with other animals, but because of my hip, I need a more gentle playmate. I just want a person who won't give up on me. Someone who sees my past quirks and understands that I've been hurt before. If you can give me the love and stability I've been searching for, I promise to give you my whole heart in return.Will you be my forever?**Neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention. Weighs about 55 lbs**

My old people never came looking for me, but that just means I get a fresh start—pretty exciting, right?I’m a laid-back, people-loving, butt-wiggling pro. Seriously, my tail wags should be in a museum. I soak up attention like a sponge and will happily be your loyal, goofy sidekick. Other dogs? They get me a little too hyped sometimes, so I can be selective when choosing a new canine bestie. Think we’re a match? Fill out an application and come meet me—I’ll be waiting with my best wiggles!
