Story
Harry and his sisters, Winky and Hermione, just arrived from Texas with their mom, Bubbles. The puppies are 5 months old and range in weight from 10-20lbs. Bubbles (their mom) is a rottweiler mix, dad is a chihuahua. Surrendered as a family, each dog showed signs of starvation, their teeth stained, and their feet are slightly upswept (kept in a kennel that was too small for them). Harry is the largest at 20lbs. He is very social and loves to be near his humans. Application here: https://tinyurl.com/TLCdogapp Adoption radius 60 miles from zipcode 20906. We do not promote any of our dogs as house trained or allergy friendly

Story
Meet your new best friend! 🐾 This lovable 9-year-old Rottweiler is proof that age is just a number. If you’re looking for a well-mannered, loving dog who will shower you with affection and be your constant companion, Boo Boo is ready to steal your heart! ❤️ What my foster says: I was amazed by how respectful and accommodating he was towards my two large dogs, from Day One. He defers to them on everything and has become a playmate to my 15-month-old pup. —------------- Wiggles Way Rescue does not guarantee that any animal is housebroken nor crate trained. She would do best in a home with no children or older children who will respect her boundaries and no other pets, as she enjoys being the center of your world. While Liberty can get along with some dogs, she is selective about her canine companions and prefers to choose her friends. She’s housebroken, well-behaved, and walks beautifully on a leash. With a medium energy level, Liberty loves her outings but also knows how to unwind and relax when it's time to settle down. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will cherish your company, Liberty might be the perfect fit!Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. Meet Ordelia (A534493)!Ordelia is a gentle, thoughtful pup who is still learning how to feel confident in new situations. She can be a little nervous at first, but she warms up quickly—especially if you have a few tasty treats to share. She takes them gently and appreciates kind words and soft pets.On walks, Ordelia does beautifully—she’s easy to leash, curious about her surroundings, and enjoys quietly observing the world around her. While she’s still figuring out dog-to-dog interactions, she’s tolerant and would likely do best with calm, respectful canine friends or as the only dog where she can blossom at her own pace. This sweet girl is looking for a patient and loving adopter who will give her the time and reassurance she needs to truly shine. With trust and kindness, Ordelia is sure to become a devoted companion.

Story
Meet Netta, a sweet and low-maintenance companion who knows the value of a good nap and a belly rub! She’s fully housetrained, sleeps soundly through the night, and loves nothing more than curling up on the couch with her favorite human—her ideal day is simply being near her person, getting up occasionally just to check in and make sure you’re still there.Netta enjoys leisurely walks, taking in all the scents along the way, and she walks nicely on a collar. Just be prepared for a burst of excitement if a squirrel, rabbit, or other critter crosses her path—her inner hunter definitely wakes up! In the yard, she’s content to sniff around and take care of business before heading back inside to relax.Netta rides great in the car and settles in easily for the journey. Netta would thrive with someone who is home often and can give her the consistency and companionship she craves. She has some adorable quirks too—like her little “tap dance” when she wants attention—and even surprised everyone by discovering she can swim after an unexpected dip in the pool! With her expressive white eyebrows and slow, easygoing nature (think sloth vibes!), Netta has the charm of a wise old soul. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion who will remind you to slow down and enjoy life’s little moments, Netta is your girl!
