Story
Mavis is a 3-4 year old 82 pound rottie we rescued over a year ago. She adores people and always wants to be near you. She loves anything soft, mainly blankets. Extremely food motivated and eager to please. She is a very smart girl and picks up on tricks quickly. She is crate trained, potty trained and has no health problems. She gets the zoomies every once in a while but prefers to lounge around and hang out. She likes to be clean and will ask for baths by hopping into the tub. She currently lives with a 16 pound Shih-tzu mix and they get along well but she is very reactive to other dogs so would do best in a single dog home. She is very protective of the people she loves but is not a barker. We’ve had tons of different people meet her and she’s very outgoing. Won’t hesitate to switch to guard dog mode if needed though. We have been working with her on that reactivity but we have not been able to give her the time she deserves. She should not be around cats.

Story
Rocky! One of the best Rotties that'll steal your heart, and make you a Rottweiler lover for LIFE! IF you aren't already! By nudging your hand with his big head to get loved on, and wiggling his butt at you because he KNOWS how adorable he is. Truly irresistible! Rok is truly one of a kind, in the best ways possible. He never seems to mind much of anything at all, and he's an amazing team player in our doggy playgroups! His top 3 very favorite things are: 1. People, evidently he is QUITE the cuddly companion, at about 3 years old, and 70ish pounds, he will take over your sofa, AND your lap! 2. Treats, as a treat motivated boy! He will do just about anything for a bite sized prize, whether it be a hot dog, or even just a typical trainer treat! 3. Dogs! He doesn't mind if they're big, little, young, old, he just looks forward to being their pal! He is a sight to see jogging our dog yard with a few 10 pounders, he always bears his big old grin, just happy to be there! He's the sweetest. Rok holds such a compassionate personality, it is simply impossible to describe! You just have to meet him! He will do great in just about any home, as he's got his basics down, is crate-trained, and seemingly house-broken!

Story
Meet Rayner, a stunning 9-month-old Rottweiler weighing in at 104 pounds of pure joy! His infectious enthusiasm for life will brighten your days. Rayner is a curious explorer, always eager to discover the world around him. You’ll often find him in his favorite play bow position, showing off his playful spirit to other dogs—and even the occasional garden statue! This intelligent boy is not just a pretty face; he’s eager to learn and loves engaging in new activities. Rayner is a toy enthusiast, especially when it comes to balls—he plays fetch. What he loves most is being with his humans. There’s nothing he enjoys more than snuggles and the sound of “good boy!” after a successful training session. Rayner already knows how to sit and lay down, and with some patience and consistency, he’s sure to learn even more. Rayner is still growing and is expected to reach between 120 and 130 pounds as an adult. To keep this big-hearted boy happy and healthy, he will need a physically fenced yard where he can run and play safely. If you’re ready to welcome a bundle of joy into your life, Rayner is eager to meet you and fill your home with love and laughter! Rayner came to Fur Fun from Cedar Rapids Animal Care and Control because they were out of space to house another dog. He was found as a stray and an owner never came for him. Rayner is housetrained, neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and heartworm tested. If you would like to meet Rayner, please complete the adoption application on our website: www.furfunrescue.org. If you have questions about Rayner you can contact rox@furfunrescue.org or call 319-929-6657. Indoor homes only. Adopters within two hours of Cedar Rapids, IA only, please. Adoption fee $400.
