*Bonded Pair* These two have grown up together and we are searching hard for an home to welcome them both. Having a large fenced in yard is a huge bonus. They are crate and house trained. Peta is an American Rottie id call her a pocket rott :) she is very sweet not overly protective. Gidget is a mini pitty before they were a thing she has dwarfism and is shaped just a bit diffrent otherwise healthy. Both girls are spayed and current on shots ages 3-4 years old. Their owner is moving soon and they will be coming to the shelter we are hoping g to get them a new home so they aren't here long. The adoptionfee is for the Pair at this time we are not interested in splitting them up you will see them posted separately if we decide to. Thank you. Well, HOWDY!!! I still can't believe i am IN TEXAS!! My story may be a little convoluted but suffice it to say... the OK Corral has nothing on me! I was not fighting the outlaws.. i was not fighting at all! I was just trying to figure out why I was saved and in a wonderful rescuers home.... then... back into a high kill shelter?? UNTIL, I was saved by ANOTHER rescuer and was transported from Louisiana to TEXAS and here I am! I LOVE everyone, I want a home that will walk me a couple of times a day and then chill out with me on their couch :) I don't have a whole bunch of energy but that is PERFECT for a lower energy home. I came to the rescue with heart worms but am going to complete my treatment by Christmas!! What a gift that will be! I am now looking for my family, someone who will love me for who I am.. a little low rider, kinda chunky but as loving as the day is long! ADOPT ME!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

River is roughly 1yr old and was acquired though a family friend - however, she does not get along with our family cat. River requires PLENTY of attention, play time, affection, etc., she is young and very hyperactive, she needs a home that can fulfill her needs.
