Story
HI - I'M MORGAN, and I'm a large (90-pound-plus) 7-year-old handsome male Rottweiler in need of a home. When I walk into a room or down the street, I exude presence, and you'll surely get lots of looks with me by your side. I'm a very loyal Rottie and will be loving and protective to my person. I especially love women though would do fine with the right guy. I'm not fond of farm animals, and I'm also not a fan of some veterinarians. I do have some arthritis, so stairs do not work for me. I'm also bit flat-footed now and then, but nobody will notice. Rottweiler or big-dog experience is essential! I would do best with a single person or a couple who wants a loyal companion and who has experience with the breed. I would also do best in a quiet home where my person or people are my world. Please email for an application.

Story
MEET RED! Red is a 1-1/2-year old loving and highly intelligent dog in need of a forever home! He is currently in a foster home. Red is great mix of smart and loyal breeds. He is part German Shepherd and Rottweiler, with a few other breeds like Border Collie and Australian Shepherd thrown in. (We did a DNA test - we're happy to share it!). Red is such a great dog in many ways: He is dog friendly, kid friendly and active. He is eager to learn, and will be excited to continue his training with a human companion. (He currently went through obedience training!). He does well off leash on walks in the country, and has wonderful recall. Once he knows you, he does not run off. He is constantly looking for fun things to chase but will look to you for permission and “leave it” when told. Red is also praise motivated and a fast learner. He gets along well with other dogs (loves dog parks!) but needs some gentle correction when he first meets friends because he excites easily at play time. He loves to romp with similar energy dogs, and he would thrive in a pack. He has a strong prey drive, but with proper instruction he has left the cat alone in his current foster home. He is always looking to his person for guidance and commands. Red is also great with all people once he has been slowly introduced to them as his desire to guard his family comes naturally to him. He is not toy or food aggressive, and is crate trained. He loves going for car rides and can be left alone while running errands (he does get car sick now and then). For long trips he may need medication until he hopefully grows out of it. He gets bored easily, should not be left outside in the yard unattended and would do best with someone who works from home or is retired, and who can give him the exercise and stimulation he needs. At the end of the day, Red enjoys lying by your feet or next to you on a couch. He is a snuggler and wants to be close to his people. He's such an awesome dog and companion. If you are looking for a sweet, loyal and active dog and are excited to continue to be his partner in training, Red would be perfect for you. He weighs 70 lbs. Please email for an application.

MEET RAYNA, a beautiful 3-year-old female Rottweiler, in need of a forever home. This girl has a big heart and a BIG head! Rayna was rescued from an overcrowded California shelter. She is great with other dogs, and loves people. Due to her size, she would be best in an adult-only home, or a home with older/teenage children. Story
Meet Indy, the sweet and spirited 2-year-old Doberman Pinscher mix who`s been patiently waiting for her forever home for the past 9 months. This gorgeous girl has been flourishing in the loving environment of a foster home, but she`s ready to find her permanent place in the world.Indy is a bit of a special girl, and she`s looking for a home where she can be the center of attention as the only pet. While she`s enjoyed short playdates with other dogs, her true love lies with her humans and her possessions, and she`s not quite open to share them. But don`t let that deter you – she has an abundance of love to give to her future family! Given her reserved nature, she`s better suited for homes without small children. With her housetraining and crate training already mastered, Indy is eager to continue learning and growing with her new family. She`s a quick learner who thrives on positive reinforcement and is always up for a new challenge. And while she may be a bit apprehensive about car rides right now, with patient and understanding companions by her side, she`s sure to overcome her fears and discover the joys of travel. If interested in meeting Indy please reach out to the foster Karen: windjammer20@gmail.com. This pet has been spayed, microchipped and is current on vaccinations. She is ready to join your forever home today!
