Story
Koba is a playful, loving puppy with a heart of gold! While heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s still learning to manage his strength, heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s a sweet boy who responds positively to training and already knows basic commands, including `sit.` His walker describes him as a `sweet, fun boy` full of potential. Koba would thrive in a quiet home and may do best with older kids. When it comes to other dogs, he could be a great match with one of similar size and energy. With a slow intro, Koba is sure to make a wonderful companion!February 9, 2025, 7:49 pm

Story
Meet Coco, a resilient and loving 9-year-old Rottweiler with a heart as big as her spirit. Despite living with Masticatory Muscle Myositis, an immune system disorder that affects her jaw muscles, Coco remains a joyful and athletic companion. This condition means she can’t open her mouth all the way, so she’s on a special home-cooked diet rich in meat and eggs to keep her strength up and takes a daily pill to manage her condition. Coco adores her walks and can be a bit of a puller on the leash if she spots another dog, but she’s always great with people. She’s super athletic and enjoys her time outdoors. Although she can’t play with toys or chew on treats due to her condition, she loves liquid treats and is happy and content in the car. A total sweetheart with a loving demeanor, Coco is also fine being left alone for periods. She’s looking for a compassionate home where she can continue to thrive and enjoy her walks, special meals, and the affection she so generously gives. If you’re ready to provide a warm and understanding environment, Coco will repay you with endless love and loyalty.

Story
Meet Lily, a 9-year-old Rottweiler with a heart full of love and a strong protective instinct. Lily is a loyal and affectionate girl who thrives on attention from her human family. She’s great with people, making her a loving and devoted companion. While Lily is very dog-aggressive and needs to be the only dog in the home, she gets along well with cats. Her protective nature means she takes her role as a family guardian seriously, ensuring her loved ones feel safe and cherished. Lily has some dietary needs due to urinary issues, requiring food with a pH under 6. She’s on a special diet of Royal Canin SO mixed with Farmer’s Dog human-grade food to manage her condition effectively. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal dog who will be devoted to you and your family, and you can provide a home without other dogs, Lily is ready to offer her affection and protection in return.

Shelter visiting hours are 12 pm to 4 pm - Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays Please fill out an adoption application at mamcorescue.org or attend one of our Saturday adoption event. Events are held each Saturday from 12 pm to 5 pm at our office: 2721 W Oxford Ave., Suite 6 Englewood, CO 80110 *In order to protect our puppies, we do not allow puppies to attend open events until they have a minimum of two vaccinations. Puppies who are available, but not listed on our weekly Facebook event, are considered "deposit only" puppies. These puppies will only attend the event IF they are reserved through a deposit. You can check the list of puppies attending the open event by checking the event: https://www.facebook.com/MAMCORescue  At MAMCO we understand that in order to continue rescuing moms and babies, we must stretch our finances as far as we are able. For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need. The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home. We often reduce the adoption fees on these harder-to-place moms and puppies to help them find forever families. Adoption fees vary. Applications can be filled out at mamcorescue.org. Unless otherwise stated, all of our dogs are mixed breeds. We never guarantee the size, breed, or temperment of any of our puppies.  ##2296055##
